Review: It's great. Works better than expected - If you are like me and can't stand the new fuel cans then this is for you. If you are like me and getting older and have trouble trying to hold up 5 gallons of fuel while trying to pour your fuel into your lawnmower with the new fuel cans then this is for you. No more struggle, over pouring and getting fuel all over my mower and myself. Filled up my fuel tank within seconds and no sore back and a mess everywhere. Just screw it onto your gas can push the green button and when your done just push the red button and all of the extra fuel in the pump line flows quickly back into the gas can. It even has a handy-dandy spot with a clip to store the nozzle. So yes in my opinion I highly recommend this to anyone looking to buy. Only thing is make sure you have 4 double A batteries or you'll be running to the store like I did lol.

In process I spilled or splashed a lot of gas—very messy and hazardous. This pump screws firmly onto the gas can and doesn’t leak—good seal. I leave it in place until the gas can is empty. The discharge hose is adequate but need to move gas can next to mower so hose reaches. A longer hose would be helpful. The pump is a no-brainer to operate. Requires two AA batteries (not included). The pump is of very good quality. It has inherent safety feature built into power-on which is genius; convenient & effective. I am proud to show it off. It fills my mower tank without my lifting of the gas can whatsoever. No splash or mess. No hazardous situation. This is a good buy. I strongly recommend this if you routinely lift a gas can to refuel equipment. A good gift too.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this an osha approved device?**
A: If you have the new "OSHA" approved fuel tank with the inner screen it prevents using the fuel transfer pump.  I have those new tanks and I have retrofitted them with vents to allow pouring and old-style nozzles.  Be careful as the flow is quite fast when transferring.

**Q: Does it have a detonator?**
A: A detonator?????!!!!!!.  It is for transferring gas from the tank to a vehicle.  The last thing this would have is a detonator.  P.S. These things are defective.  I ordered one and had to get replacement because the pump didn't work.  The replacement didn't work either.  Buy something else.  On a positive note, the seller very quickly refunded my money.

**Q: Does it fit on midwest 5 gal plastic cans?**
A: Sometimes.

**Q: I tested it with water but how does one get the water droplets out?**
A: You have to run a small amount of fuel threw it to clean out the water. I would use a bucket to make sure you can see the water in the fuel.

If you are like me and can't stand the new fuel cans then this is for you. If you are like me and getting older and have trouble trying to hold up 5 gallons of fuel while trying to pour your fuel into your lawnmower with the new fuel cans then this is for you. No more struggle, over pouring and getting fuel all over my mower and myself. Filled up my fuel tank within seconds and no sore back and a mess everywhere. Just screw it onto your gas can push the green button and when your done just push the red button and all of the extra fuel in the pump line flows quickly back into the gas can. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beats EPA-Mandated Nozzles

I bought this pump months ago and hadn’t tried it until last night. It was -14° Fahrenheit and I was trying to fill a diesel tank at waist level from a new 5-gallon gas can. The nozzles on these new cans are a nightmare, to say the least, and after a few minutes of pouring manually I had only gotten about a gallon poured into the tank with a bunch of leakage on the ground and on my shoes. I was thinking about transferring an older, more usable nozzle from another gas can when I remembered I had this pump. After several minutes of searching I found some good AA batteries and installed them in the pump. After fighting to tear the built-in filter out of the gas can, I screwed on the pump and locked the nozzle right onto the tank I was trying to fill. I hit start and within seconds the pump had already transferred more diesel than manually pouring had transferred in minutes. The tank was filled in no time and clicked off automatically when it was done. It was the easiest thing ever. What amazed me even more was that the lines on the pump were still perfectly flexible even in -14°F with a -31° windchill. And to top it off, there was zero mess. That’s a good product. If it keeps performing this well I’ll be recommending it to everyone, and probably even buying it as a gift. Now that I think of it, this will be perfect for my senior dad. He’ll love it.
