Levi'sMen's 512 Slim Taper Fit Jeans

Levi's makes good jeans that have exceptional quality and that fit great and this is no exception. Definitely a good buy. They were on sale, so-you can't beat that!

The colour is rare- the fit is perfect- very comfortable. Now, it has 5 stars based on your knowing the “new” Levi’s- the colour will fade quickly- the stitching- and hardware- will deteriorate faster than expected- overall lower quality is just the reality - more expensive- made cheaper. I’d like to get 2 years out of them - the colour not being an everyday choice- so I did buy 2 pairs-

Excellent fit tapered and good fit with comfortable wear.

Purchased to replace a favorite old pair of 511s that finally had an unrepairable seat rip. For a long time now, Levi's consistency of fit (not referring to model/style) from pair to pair is pretty awful. Even with same size, wash, and style, 20 pairs will all fit differently. I'm used to looking like a crazy person walking into dressing rooms with every 38x30 in a store. It took changing to the 512 to be closer in fit to my old 511s. The new pair still several fitment issues where they're still too baggy in areas, too tight in others, but still a better fit than some of the other pairs I've tried before I settled on this pair.All those considerations being said, Levi's are still good quality denim and the construction is solid.

all good. Size and color as expected

I am 5'9", 165 lbs and usually wear a 513 in a 31x32. As jean styles now have less "puddling" at the ankle, I have switched to 31x30. I have tried the 511 in stores and have found them too "skinny" for me. The thighs were too snug. I have not seen the 512 style in stores, thought they might lean toward a more slim fit than a skinny and decided to try them. I am glad I did. I prefer most apparel in a slim fit. I went up a notch in the waist, wanting to insure the thighs were not too tight and purchased a 32x30. The waist is a bit loose, but the leg fits great, neither too tight or too loose. As I usually wear a belt, it is not a problem. The tapering is a change from the 513s. It is much tighter around the ankle, but I find I like it. I will buy more of these, when I see them again. Unfortunately, they are no longer available at this time.

I haven't worn jeans in years, but I picked these up and was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they were and how good they looked. Perfect for wearing with Jordans.

These are definitely the best Levi’s for a slim tapered skinny jean look. These are actually more tapered than the 510s which are the branded skinny jeans fit. Upon doing research turns out 512s have a smaller ankle while also having an extra inch of width from knee to thigh, along with a lower rise, which makes theee the perfect cut to also fit well on a woman. I wouldn’t go with these if you have thick thighs though. I would go with the 550, 531 or 541 if you are a women with thicker hips or thighs.I have long been wearing men’s jeans simply because they tend to have better pockets, better material and more length. I would say the 512s have the best cut for a slim feminine looking fit on a woman.
