Revel Nail Passion for Pastels Odor Free Glossy Dip Powder Starter Nail Manicure Kit with Base, Activator, Finish Gel, Gel Thinner, and 4 Colors

I have been using Revel dip powder exclusively for about 5 years. This is the first time I purchased from Amazon. I really only needed the activator liquid, but I bought the kit because it’s a great value and I have been eyeing up one of the colors (Ballet) anyway. These pastel colors are just gorgeous! The kit is a good deal and you can’t beat that Prime shipping! As far as the product, some of the reviews complain about the liquids turning to solid and the lids sticking- that’s just some of the learning curve with dip products. When you follow the instructions and recommendations, you won’t have that trouble. And you’ll save so much time and money by not going to the salon. Trust me, if I can do it, anybody can!

I really like the product. But the lid on bottle 1 became so hard to open after the 1st use, the the lid broke off exposing glass.

The activator bottle was only filled halfway with activator!

I ordered this kit but wasn't able to open it until after the return window closed. Only to find out when I was able to use it that the bottle with the activating gel was entirely empty. The brush was completely clean and dry and it was clear there was nothing ever inside that bottle. The bottle with the finishing coat was glued shut I had to enlist several people to help me open it and was only finally able to get it open with a rubber band and a pair of pliers. As I was applying the base coat my eyes began burning (no I did not have it anywhere near my eyes). I got to the step after dipping of applying the activator gel to find the bottle empty. This is truly very poor quality and a complete rip off of a product without any quality control.

This was my first time using an at home dip powder kit, and I’m pleased with how it came out. It’s not perfect, but I know my next set will be better as I get the tips and tricks down. Having the proper tools to prepare your nails and clean up mistakes is critical. I had a lot of fun with this and think the blue is such a pretty spring color!

I love the colors there but it doesn’t last I’ve tried all of them so far and it cracks like 2 days after but it’s cute.

Two of the brushes in the kit came unattached to the lid making a mess of dried glue (pro base) and top coat all over my hands when trying to push the brush back into the lid. Will be returning

The dip powders are fine, but the liquids are awful. The top coat is streaky and the second coat does not fully dry. I've had the kit for 3 months and the base coat is glued shut so I have to waste the product and buy a new bottle from another company. I wish I had bought the liquids separately from another company.
