Easy way to maintain a budgeted install
Custom homebuilder that has used these Home Masters heavy duty handrail brackets in brushed nickel, black, brass, and satin nickel over several dozen homes over the last 7 years and have found them to do the job as well as the National brands with equal quality, at a less expensive price point. Screws are not adequate foe hand rails
I'm actually very impressed with these Stair rail stabilizers . I had some previous rails studs which were flimsy and cheaply made. These stabilizes ate well made and does what it said it would. That being said - the screws SUCK. Be prepared to invest in some good wood screws. Overall, I'll recommend them.

Great PRODUCT
These brackets well made and have a great finish worked perfect for the handrails I installed for a friend. Also the screws worked just fine, no screw heads breaking. Great bracket would order again its nice when something works.

The quality is good for the price but be mindful -- the fastening hardware is weak and may snap with high torque. 2 screw sheared under moderate pressure and needed to be extracted.
