Goood quality, easy to work with

Sturdy, thick and did not roll or fold. Perfect size to Insert inside the waistband of heavy jeans, to create just a little bit of stretch for a better fit when you’re in-between sizes. Way cheaper than having the waistband altered, since my machine won’t handle the thick denim.

Perfect for adding waistbands to garments. I make a lot of pj pants for gifts and this is the elastic I use every time. It doesn't roll and get itself twisted inside the waistband, and it doesn't seem to loosen up very much over time. It's stretchier than most types of elastic, which I find to be more comfortable, but you should definitely take this into account when sewing with it. You'll probably want to use a slightly shorter length of this than you would use with a firmer elastic. I often end up taking off close to 3 inches from my usual elastic measurement to get the proper fit. (So, for example, if I would normally use a 34" length of elastic with 1" overlapped as a waistband measurement for someone with a 36" waist, I would cut a 32" length of this and overlap 1" to start, but will occasionally still have to take off 1/2"-1" to get the fit 'just right'.)

I purchased this non roll flat elastic to attach to my little dogs socks. I am not potty just in case you were wondering but she wears doggy socks to stop her licking and swallowing her hair. This non roll elastic has been perfect I have attached it to her socks to keep them in place and it has worked like a dream. I would rather have a happy dog wearing socks than one not wearing socks that keeps regurgitating hair all the time.

I have found this elastic to be very solid/stiff but easily bendable. It has a 'what I call' a strong/heavy stretch. I am using it for a pair of well loved pants, that do have a string tie but the elastic (after too many years to mention) had given up and now the pants fall down before I can even get them tied up.The re-stringing was the worst, for me, as the elastic was the exact size so there was no wiggle room at all and, I only had a large paper clip to push the elastic through. I will admit that it took me a while AND it was so worth it!I LOVE MY FAVORITE PANTS AGAIN!!!
