I gave this a 5 star rating because this is what I was looking for. I wanted a leather notebook that I can keep with me to jot things down for later reference or as a way to remember things to do later when I get home. This is the perfect size for this. It fits easily in my pocket or purse and is well constructed and sturdy. the genuine leather is good quality and journal has a good weight to it. Also, the elastic band is great for keeping loose memos in it safe and secure. The harder (cardboard) pad is great for attaching sticky notes to. I found this journal is great for a loose paper, note taking organizer.The only thing that would make this better than perfect is if the refill packs had options of only blank pads or only lined pads. I need to refill those more often than the hard cardboard pads.

It came with a gift box, the charm, and a postcard along with the notebook. It looks beautiful and it arrived on time to be the perfect 'santa gift" for my daughter. It looks genuinely like it could have been handmade in the north pole, complete with packaging. Love it!

Journal liked good. Sent as a gift to a niece. Have heard nothing back so unfortunately I can’t say much.

This didn’t arrive on time which Amazon made right. However this is quite possibly the most beautiful journal I’ve ever seen. It’s so unique with the charms the twine wrapping and black and white photograph included. The journal paper is darling. Quite the creative and beautiful package. I would definitely order it again but with time to spare.

Horrible. All pieces fell on ground when opened. Very small. Definitely not worth price.

Great little leather journal. It could fit into a backpocket of jeans, would be bulky, but it fits. The sets of paper are easily replaceable. The cardboard card-holder section with a pocket is useful too! Would make a nice gift for those of us who like to carry a notebook and pen around as edc items.

Gave it to my son for Christmas and he loved it. I was a little skeptical about the size at first but my son said it was perfect.

First of all when I opened the package, was highly disappointing. It was way to small, from what the description showed, it was supposed to be bigger than a cellphone, in which it wasn’t. Secondly, the charm is missing, so there’s a tab just dangling from the book. On the other hand, the quality of the book is good, hence the two stars. The pic is with a gold jewelry gift box to scale the size of the journal.
