I had gotten this to hopefully fit the machete-knife I found sticking out of a tree. I was a bit leery because the knife had an odd shape blade that curved forward, and was still 1.75'' wide at the thickest points. It fits almost perfectly. The leather is thick, robust, and has strong stitching.

Excellently made! Heavy duty leather, double stitching, great color and amazing price, ($15.00) Bought for a 10.5 inch Hori Hori. Fits great (although 2 inches shorter would have been ideal) Will last a lifetime. :) Love it and the knife inside. ;)

First gave a fastening system like a snap, etc... Relies upon a leather thong to keep knife in sheath and this is not so wonderful. I needed a sheath for a long knife so I got this. I'll probably have a snap installed. Sheath is otherwise ok.

A Cold Steel Trail Master fits tightly in this sheath bit it does fit. The knife can be inserted for either right-handed or keft-handed carry. Good value for the money. This is a sturdy sheath made of thick leather. I recommend this sheath highly.

Not the best of qualities, but for the money I think is the best you can get. I’m just glad that I was able to find a sheath big enough for my long blade. It’s the only one I was able to find in all of Amazon.

You get what you pay for on this sheath. It serves its purpose if I lost the Sheath I wouldn't be upset about it.I will continue to look for a higher quality sheath.
