Q: Are these made of pvc or peva?

Not absolutely certain but I believe that these clear vinyl shoulder covers are the cheaper clear polychloride vinyl and, as I recollect, they gave off a distinct plastic smell...at least initially. But I've had mine about 3 yrs. now so the smell is long gone. But in my central valley apartment with all the dust and agriculture residue flying around, like almond dust, etc., they surely have done their protective job well and wipe of easily with a damp cloth.

Yes.... This product is exactly as shown AND my wife and I just love them. She uses them for her special and her sweaters and I cover my sports coats with them. We actually ordered them a second time. Good value.

When we lived in Florida, I used these on our cloths to keep the dust off. I didn't have a mold issue because I used the moisture absorbing tubs in the closets.

I also have been airing them outside. The odor is extreme and I will not be purchasing again. I am past time for return. If you are in return window, do so and find another supplier. I am very disappointed. Sorry I didn’t really answer your question.
