These Umyogo running shoes earn a 400% GET IT FROM ME.ABOVE THE FOLD REVIEW - Amazingly comfortable running shoes - NO BACK PAIN for me - fantastic value at this price and a great looking pair of shoes - Get some :)LONGER REVIEW -Ok - So I have a lot of shoes - a lot - more than my wife (yes I’m a guy and these are women's shoes - we will get to that shortly) and the vast majority of my shoes were chosen because of appearance and style, but when it comes to athletic wear, they are chosen for performance.So, I am 52, and about 4 years ago I got a new job that put me back in the corporate space after a 12 year break. That forced me to have to get some new work clothes. When I went to the store I found that size 38” pants would no longer fit and I would have to get larger. This put me on a fitness journey that took me down to my current 29” waist and from 189lbs to 146lbs.In regard to physical exercise, there have been a lot of online classes, power walking, cycling, and regular walking. My 1 yr old Asics were beginning to show the signs of aging I would not have expected to see for at least 5 years and it was clearly time to look into another pair of sneakers.When looking online I was very much intrigued by the design of the Umyogo as I had never seen anything like it before. At the time, there was only an option to get the ladies style in my size. Given that the ladies and mens look the same to me I figured what the heck and got these.Because I had no idea how a sole like this was going to work, and because I was not familiar with this brand this was quite the leap of faith because I am allergic to buyers remorse and always heavily research everything I buy.FIRST IMPRESSION:In taking these out of the box, they were just as impressive because of their crazy design as they were in the product listings. The honeycomb structured sole is just wild, and I just could not wait to try them.I immediately like how the mesh fabric looks amazingly breathable and well suited to keep me fresh in my workouts.I like how the two black straps are used to be the last two loopholes for the laces as this transfers the load to the rear of the shoe instead of the traditional implementation of laces.I like the fabric strapping that has the writing on it because it looks nice and helps keep the shape of the mesh fabric.FITI ordered the 9.5 and these are a perfect fit for me. They are super comfortable and there is no area anywhere that is uncomfortable from day 1.USEWhen I put these on, and in just walking around the house they were super comfortable, and in taking the dog for a walk they were perfect no matter the terrain, on the road or in the park.THE BIG TEST came at the end of one of the walks when I decided to see how they performed while running. To put this in context, all I had been running in prior to this was my EXPENSIVE Aciscs which I had selected because of the reviews…. AND….. I was ASTONISHED - That is worth repeating - ASTONISHED. This pair of Umyogo shoes that I had never heard of with their crazy sole construction allowed me to run pain free - PAIN FREE - when running in my Aciscs resulted in almost immediate discomfort every single time I ran.This is truly a liberating experience - my lower back no longer hurts while running - WOW!!! I’m a convert :)NEGATIVES:Truly, there is nothing about these that would make me not get more of them, or suggest that someone else not get them, but here are the few things that I found:#1 - They make a slightly odd noise when walking on concrete or asphalt. It is not super loud and it may diminish over time, and definitely not a deal breaker considering how incredible they are to run in.#2 - That wonderful honeycomb sole is a bit of a magnet for dirt and debris and ends up getting quite dirty in a way you won’t see on shoes with a more traditional sole. So if you care how they look, you will either have to only walk on grass, be willing to take an old toothbrush to them every once in awhile, or only wear them indoors.The pluses with these sneakers far outweigh anything remotely negative with them and that is why they are a 5 star product.SUMMARYInitially I was pulled in by the appearance of these sneakers thinking I would have an interesting pair to walk the dog and maybe do stationary cycling in at home, but I was not expecting to find the most comfortable running shoes I have ever worn in my life. If you are reading these words, get yourself a pair - I do not believe you will be disappointed :)IN CLOSING:This is a review being written while isolating and trying to stay safe and healthy. I hope to keep writing reviews for a very long time to enable you to have an informed decision when looking to make a purchase. Arrived earlier than expected, sweet sneakers, five stars. I got a pair in red and yellow. I wear a size 8 and ordered a size 8 and it seemed just the right size to me. The yellow ones make a little bit of a funny sound when you walk but it doesn't bother me. The red ones are more silent. Both are super comfortable and cute. My new favorite sneakers!Also please ignore the fluffy cotton on my carpet, my dogs just chewed up a stuffed toy. :)

Ok so usually I get a nine in shoes maybe my foot got bigger idk🤷🏽‍♀️They are very snug and my foot touches the tip so I would go up a size which is 9.5 BUT they look amazing and if it was the right exact size for my foot I have no doubt it would be comfortable. They do have some weight to them and aren't flimsy or weak which I thought was pretty nice to.

Ok so I read a couple reviews talking about how they thought these were very uncomfortable shoes becuase of the design on the bottom. So I figured I would chance it anyway and get insoles if needed... they do not need insoles.. they're very comfortable as they are. I wear a size 7 and once I ordered womans 7 instead of the men's 7 (which I had mistakenly done first) they fit great. Are not tight or too big or anything. I got both black and white. They also weren't supposed to be here until july so I got them a month early which made my day. Would definitely recommend these shoes to whoever Is thinking about them. And I'm picky about my shoes. I also really like how the toe of these isnt curved inwards like most shoes.. if that makes sense to ya... ALSO the tongue is fixed and doesnt move which I like. They're also great for me to be able just like slip on becuase I usually tie my shoes to wear I can just slip on and take off

I ordered the black pair and this red pair. The black fit pretty snug but loosened up after walking around. The red pair are uncomfortable. They also have memory foam which I do not like and never read that in the description. The loops in the back are 2” which are huge! The black pair are only 1/4”. Big difference. The shoes came a month late due to the covid19. I didn’t try to wear them due to that plus since we were quarantined I didn’t have anywhere to go. Once I tried the red pair and contacted the seller for a refund I have had no answer. I would like a refund or a different red pair that fit, have regular insoles, and smaller loops in the back.

This product is poorly made. It’s huge and the seller would not return your money. It’s a cheap piece of plastic

I don’t understand anyone who says these are the most comfortable shoes ever. I really had high expectations after seeing that in so many reviews.If you’ve worn any decent athletic shoe, these will not be that comfortable to you. I’m a runner that is used to wearing Brooks, Saucony Triumphs, and Hokas.I like how unique these look and the bright color. They’re not heavy, and the color is very vibrant. I usually order a half size larger in running shoes, so I did that with these. I’m usually a solid 6.5 in everything except running shoes, so I got these in a 7. The 7 is fine, but I think my 6.5 “normal” size would have sufficed.All in all, I like them. They definitely need the insoles switched out. The ones that come in the shoes are super thin, and you can tell they’re of low quality. The coral color I bought makes me look really tan, so there’s that.It’s a fun shoes, but it’s not life changing like some people have commented. After about an hour and half at the zoo, my feet were achy and tired.

Love the vibrant color and fit! I usually take a 8.5 but bought a size 9 and they fit great! Ordering another pair in a different color!

These shoes are not meant for running nor for a lot of walking because your feet will hurt; however, they're great for casual wear and for style. I am amazed at the high level quality for the low price! I compare these shoes exactly the same quality as other any other name brands such as Nike. I give these shoes 5 stars out of 5!

I am a size 9 in every shoe that I wear, so I ordered a size 9 expecting they would fit. The shoes I received are two sizes too big. Aside from that, the shoe itself seems incredibly cheap and you will definitely not get any substantial support from this shoe. The fabric doesn't look durable and the shoe really looks like a discount version of the picture. I contacted the seller to get a refund since these shoes are just way too massive to even wear, and they are asking me to send pictures for proof. Really bad customer service. Not even retail stores cause problems like that when trying to return unworn shoes. It's very clear that this seller just wants to take your money. I really don't recommend this product. Not only is the product bad, but if you receive a faulty product you won't get any help from the seller. Really frustrating.

I am giving this a 4 star because, for the money, they are comfortable, fit to size and seem sturdy after a few wears. The one issue I have is putting them on. In the seller photos, they appear as a normal runner with tongue, however, it is a fixed tongue, as in you put your foot through a narrow HOLE. The heel tab is not sewn to the top, so the back of the shoe folds in with your foot when inserting. It is an annoyance. I purchased a shoe horn. Not at all a "throw them on and out the door" kind of shoe.

I love the shoe itself........because I have so much trouble with my feet only wear the for maybe an hour give or take a day.......trying to break them in very slowly.......the tbs at the back of shoe I wasn't crazy about so cut them off and sealed the edges of ribbons with crazy glue to keep them from fraying. But yesterday I was very disappointed to notice that on both shoes on the inside lining under the ankle they are separating from the shoe.......considering the very little use that I have gotten out of them I am more than a little disappointed. I had intentions of purchasing another pair once I had confirmed they would be okay for my feet.........now I don't know......if they wear out this quickly.Very very disappointed!!
