Handy little pitcher if you like to make iced coffees at home periodically! I love a good afternoon iced coffee and I hate paying the prices and drinking the sugary and calorie packed coffee from Starbucks or Dunkin. I wanted to be able to have coffee ready to go in my fridge. This thing has given me just that. It’s taken me while to figure out how to make the perfect water to ratio concoction in this thing, but after trial and error, I think I’ve got it down. If you like a dark, flavorful, full tasting iced coffee like I do, grab the Starbucks Sumatra coffee ground bag (purple colored bag) at your local grocery store and try it out! Gives me a HUGE boost in caffeine and the coffee is wonderful tasting with a splash of coffee mate creamer & some ice cubes. To make it, I do 8-10 scoops of coffee grounds (sounds like a lot, I know- but trust me) and I fill the pitcher up to the 100 ML line with cold, filtered water from my fridge. Let it sit out on the counter top for 12-24 hours before drinking for the best flavor. Pour over ice and add in what you like! Tastes great and lasts in the fridge for days. The pitcher is quite small, so it doesn’t last me longer than a few days, that’s the only draw back. But still totally recommend if you’re looking for an alternative to spending $5 at Starbucks everyday!

I love this cold brewer. It's easy to use. I like that you can add the water through the coffee strainer. It brews better if you get the coffee fully wet. I've had others that you add the strainer after you fill it with water and not all of the coffee gets wet and therefore the coffee is lighter than I like. This also has a nice rubber bottom to help protect the glass when it sit it down. I would highly recommend this product. It even came with a coffee scoop and bottle washer. Very nice.

My first one broke in the sink the very first time I washed it. Shattered into a million pieces. Then the company read my review saying it was fragile and sent me another one. I've made 3 batches of cold brew with it and VERY CAREFULLY washed it after each time. The coffee is good. I love cold brew coffee. So the carafe is very beautiful and very fragile. The plastic pieces seem very legit. Do not scrape out the filter. The interior mesh will roll up and not be able to fit back in. Luckily I had an extra filter from my broken carafe. I think this is a good cold brew device if you are careful with it and also don't scape out the filter basket.

I bought this because we were going through $6-8 bottles of cold brew coffee frequently. It is life changing, and it will save you a ton of money if you drink cold brew regularly. Just put the coffee in the strainer piece, fill with water and put in the fridge overnight. It is a glass bottle, but it is very sturdy, and everything comes apart, so it is super easy to clean in the dishwasher.

I love that this will fit into the door of my refrigerator. I can use the insert in another narrow pitcher for which I haven't been able to find an insert that fits. Hadn't tried cold brewed teas and coffee before and I'm now a convert! I wash by hand, but after a several uses, put it in the dishwasher, non glass parts top tray and pitcher in the lower. Came out fine, although I won't do it often.
