Jealous Devil All Natural Hardwood Lump Charcoal (1-10lbs Bag)

We have a green egg and started using this product, my husband swears by it.

I bought this last year and again this year. After hearing that the popular charcoal had corn starch, sawdust and coal dust, I wasn't having any of that. So after doing a lot of comparison I settled on this brand. I am most pleased. I find it heats up quickly and burns hot, but it does as it says. No smoke or taste from the product. Want smoke? burn your meat or put in some wood such as mesquite etc. I am very picky about things and this is one of them. It burns hot, ignites quickly, stays warm and low ash and chunks remaining. I will continue buying this product. Bag? well the closure falls off, but it works fine for me. If that is the big selling point for you, then perhaps buying the grocery store brand is good enough. For me , what is in the bag, and this is very nice.
