HAPPY JACKFlea Beacon

First I'd like to say I've NEVER left a bad review before. Even if I wasn't totally satisfied with a product. The only reason I'm writing this is because I want to warn people about the customer service.So..We ordered 2 of these flea beacons about 2 weeks apart. The first one worked well so we decided to buy a 2ed one for our basement. Now let me just say for 28 bucks I expected the materials to not feel so cheap. But it worked so I was fine with it. It came packaged well and wrapped in bubble wrap.Now the 2ed one was a completely different story. There was no packaging. It was literally just the box the item comes in with a shipping label slapped on the front of it. I should also mention that the box is designed with a cut out so you can see the product. So the shipping lable was essentially put right on the product defacing it. The real kicker is it didn't come with a light bulb or cord!! Yay!! The customer service number is just an automated voice saying they aren't taking calls and to reach them via email. I did... it's been 24hrs and nothing.So to sum up... it works even though it is cheaply made and the customer service is horrible!! Good luck!!

This product is invaluable in my battle with fleas. Within a few days of setting up( which was extremely easy )I and my cats were not getting bit. Caught all the adult fleas in the house. Will leave plugged in 24/7 in order to catch fleas as they hatch. Great product for eliminating fleas without pesticides. Highly recommend and will order again !!!

This thing works, but its not enough to stop a flea infestation on its own!Only adult fleas seem to be attracted to it. It says so on the product, but its important to keep in mind.You will still need to treat your animals, fog the house and vacuum daily to stop an infestation.It's very good for after you do all that and just need to get the stragglers. I make sure to close all the blinds and turn off the lights in the room so it's the only light there.Because its reusable, easy to use, and just needs plugged in - its really good for long term use.

I don't think this product works very well. I ordered a few of them because we were at the tail end of an infestation. We caught one flea in five days three rooms that I know still had fleas in them because I saw them jumping. Mayve they work if you have a bunch of fleas. But if you have a bunch of fleas, you are going to need more than this. I wouldn't purchase them again.

Obviously if you are getting one of these, you likely have pets. The plastic is so flimsy that should it get stepped on by either cat or dog, it will collapse. It does work, so be sure to place it in an area that your pets do not have access to. Also, as a side note, kittens can get their paws stuck on the glue trap. No big issue since the paws were washed with soap and water.
