Easy to Apply and Great Results if You Prep Properly (Updated)
I just finished applying this to my 18 GTI AB and my wifeโs 18 RAV4 SE. I figured the best time to do it is when the cars are relatively new and defect free, and boy was I right. The whole process took about 14-15 hours, spread across 2 days - remembering that we did 2 cars with one set of products. Started with a touch free wash due to convenience (although I would recommend washing by hand), and then a full wipe down with MF towels and 50/50 distilled and 91% iso. Moved on to a full clay bar, and a polish for my car (wife only had a few hundred miles on her car so we didnโt feel the polish was necessary after inspection with a spot light). After that, a final wipe down with 50/50 again to make sure any residue was taken care of. Applying the cquartz was so simple although I was being overly cautious at first. Worked panel by panel and split the hood, trunk, and roof in two. You can go a little bit bigger than 2x2 if youโre in a cool, less humid environment (45 degrees, 40% humidity, in garage when we applied). Since the package says the original cquartz, I found that applying in about 2-4 criss cross passes and waiting for 3-5 minutes after produced the best results. I wiped immediately when applying to the hood and felt like it was better to wait, although you donโt want to wait too long because it becomes pretty rough to buff out, although not impossible. Finished with a coat of reload which really put the slick on the paint - super easy to apply and gives me the peace of mind that there are multiple barriers between the elements and my clear coat. Iโm waiting to test after curing for 24 hours on my wifeโs car, and 48 hours for mine. Itโs raining today so Iโll be able to tell right away. Will update with pictures after a nice 4 hour ride back home. All in all the cars look fantastic. Like people said, itโs all about the prep. I could see people not doing a proper clay, polish, and degrease and getting less than stellar results. I have about half a 50ml bottle left after 2 cars and am planning to do the wheels, windows, and whatever trim is left around the holidays. Be patient, prep properly, and plan a 2 or 3 day weekend to get the best results. Edit: After roughly a year of use, our coatings are holding up pretty well and I'm definitely happy with the application given it was my first real go and only cost me ~$75, time, and elbow grease. My wife's RAV4 has not been washed since we applied (yes, almost 10 months), and still looks brand new. She gets compliments on it all the time. The coating didn't work as well on my car and water beading has reduced significantly (after Reload has worn) but I'm pretty sure I know why. My car had 4000 miles on it when we applied, which means we probably needed some better paint correction on it to get the right results. My wife's was brand new, less than 200 miles. Also, we inadvertently waited 2-3 minutes longer on my wife's car as we were swapping the applicator back and forth and we happened to start on my vehicle. After doing a little digging, I saw a post from someone who reached out to CarPro and mentioned waiting longer than the recommended application time is beneficial, and I'm guessing it just needed a little bit more time to cure. Like I mentioned, its a lot harder to buff out, but the results appear to be better. I'll update after my 1 year wash on my car and post some photos so people can see how its holding up.

Legit- the best automotive purchase I've ever made
This has been hands down the best purchase I made for my cars ever. Bought a new Chevy SS sedan, and within a week of getting it, I applied this. I washed it with their car shampoo first, then I prep-sol'd the car( a step they didn't mention, but I did anyways to make sure I was applying this to virgin clean paint). I didn't need to do any buffing or paint correction, as my paint was unblemished, and smooth as can be( you may need to do that step though...). I applied it EXACTLY as instructed. I did everything- paint, lights, trim, even the windows(though they recommended not to, it worked out fine for me). I even took the wheels off, and did them and the hard to wash Brembo painted calipers. Nearly 4 months later, and it looks like I put it on yesterday. Water beads off amazingly from ALL the surfaces I applied it to. The only downside to this is that if you wash the car with ANYTHING but their brand of car shampoo that they recommend, you risk damaging the coating. I washed it ONCE with Meguiars Wash and Wax and it did NOT bead up like it did before. Waxes actually build up on the surface of the ceramic coating, and will bead LESS than the coating. It's really weird. But I washed it the next weekend, with their car shampoo, and the beading effect was right back to the way it was before the Meguiars. Theres a reason they guarantee the length of time the coating lasts, when applied and maintained properly. This is legit an amazing product. NOTHING sticks to it. If you buy this... do yourself the favor, and put the effort into applying it like I did, and also get their car shampoo and even their "Iron-X" wheel cleaner. And only use their products on it, as they recommend. Make your life easier for yourself. Took the car on a trip this weekend. Came home with a million bugs all over the front. Didn't have a chance to wash it at home, so I washed it at a do it yourself pressure washer car washer on the way to work. I only used the "clean rinse" setting(remember- no other soap but theirs). Like magic, the bugs were gone. No rubbing. No cleansers. Nothing. $2 and 4 minutes of time at the pressure washer. I can't say enough good about this stuff.

Super Slick, deep gloss with proper prep.
This product is easy enough to use if you have prior coating experience. The main thing to watch for is proper flash time, seems this can range from approx 2-8 mins give or take. Unlike most other coatings that you can see a rainbow drying pattern this is a bit hard to see. Too little time=not enough bonding too much time=high spots and difficulty removing. Use a small spot to start and determine how much time you will need so you can tell how far ahead you can work and then return to applied portions to remove. This gave a mirror shine and super hydrophobic property to my vehicle. Washing is now faster, most light dirt doesn't even stick or blows off driving. This is a great product so far. If it lasts 18+ months I will consider using it again. The pre coating prep work is the main chore as with any coating but the work pays off. If this is your first experience coating, watch plenty of videos. Lastly do not shake and have a towel ready when you open and hold away from your face. It is pressurized.

Amazing product! Just follow the instructions!
This is my first time working with ceramic coating and omg there's no words to describe how satisfied I am. I ordered the 50ml size and it was more than enough for my coupe. I started with a powerwash, used soap that would strip wax, sealant and went to apply the first coat in the rear quarter panel. There's no need to apply too much cquartz, just enough to get the surface 'oily', and make sure to use microfiber towels that don't leave lint. After two minutes, I wiped the product off and immediately, the panel produced a shine and slickness that would for sure repel anything thrown at it. I then applied another coat (max 3 coats), wiped off after two minutes and went to the next panel. It's extremely important that you take your time and work in small areas as the stuff, once left longer will be hard to wipe off and possibly leave a stain. For example, I did 1/2 of my hood and roof at a time since the area would be too large to wipe off at once, keep in mind, you will get tired after wiping multiple layers off. Also, do not use in direct sun and make sure you are well ventilated as the product produces odor. The instructions also say to use Reload right after or wait 12 hours. Time will tell how long this lasts, but for now I'm just simply speechless.

Great product but watch for the sellers!
Excellent product, very easy to work with. Watch the sellers, I purchased one bottle and it was manufactured in 2025 so it was fine. I purchased a second bottle and when it arrived the box said mfg 2023 which is expired! The product has an 18 month to 2 year shelf life. It seems some of the sellers are trying to pass off expired products which can scratch your paint if it contains dried crystals in the liquid.

Loving it so far!
Car: 2019 Honda Civic Product: 50ml CarPro Cquartz coating Time to Clean: 2 hr Time to Install: 8.5 hr (2 coats) Time Spent with the Product: 3 days Installer experience: None/DIY First Impressions: I'm loving this product, and so far it has been quite forgiving. It is beading up water like a champ and has kept my car clean. It seems like the rain actually cleans my car versus creating water spots etc. I did not see a huge difference in gloss versus the dealer's wax application. The Prep: I had the car new off the lot for one week before the install, please keep in mind this made my prep MUCH shorter/simpler than most installs. I used a foam cannon loaded with Dawn dish soap at the beginning. I coated the car and allowed it to sit for a couple minutes then rinsed with water. I resprayed with the dish soap foam and used a microfiber towel to hand wash the car. I was careful to wash from the top down due to more contamination towards the bottom of the car and I didn't want to hand wash grit into my clear coat. I then rinsed with water again. I used the dish soap to remove the wax applied by the dealer. If the car wasn't new, I would have clay bar'd the whole car at this point. I skipped to drying the car thoroughly with microfiber towels --I was super worried any streaking or dried water would show up under the ceramic coating, but the install/buffing got rid of any remaining wash marks. The Install: I read the instructions provided by Cquartz and I followed them quite closely. I applied two coats 10 hours a part in a rather cold garage environment (45F). I believe it made the coating take longer than the recommended 1-2 minutes to flash/haze. However, I played it on the safe side and waited no longer than 2 minutes before buffing out the product. I put the liquid on pretty thick and could have probably used less to do 3 coats total. I buffed out with microfiber towels until no product was visible on the surface. It took me approximately 8.5 hr over two coats (4.25hr/coat) and 90% of the 50ml bottle. I coated every single part of the exterior of the car (painted and plastic parts, front windshield and rear glass) besides the four side windows. After the second coat I waited approximately 40 hours until I took the car out of the garage. It was shorter than the recommended time, but it did not seem to affect the coating's appearance or effectiveness. Longevity: I will use this section to report back on my review. I'd be absolutely thrilled if it repels water this well for over a week or two. It's been too many times where I've waxed a car and it's appearance/water repellent wore off in a week.

car pro cquartz. amazing finish. 2017 GMC Denali
my truck new had been on the lot for few months. when i got it home and cleaned it i noticed lots of water spots that would not come off. i done paint correction with 3M ultrafineEX. after correction I had beautiful results and now time to try and keep it that way. i purchased numerous waxes and sealants. waxes used where zymol glasur. wolfgang fuzion. chemical guys petes 53 and XXX hardcore. klassur sealant and several other economical waxes also. after driving in the rain the beading and sheeting was always gone. water spots appeared again after several rains and drying in hot sun. done paint correction again to remove all spots and waxed truck. found cquartz while searching for paint protection on net researched SIO2 coatings and purchased cquartz. after arrival and reading instructions only had time to do couple of panels to test before rain coming in 2 days. so i decided to coat fender and side of bed to test. i buffed these panels to remove all waxes and any spots followed by IPA wipe. after application which was pretty easy i noticed huge clarity difference in panels coated next to panels waxed. a clarity none of the waxes could produce. the rain came 2 days later it was the remnants of hurricane Irma. wind gust up to 70 mph the worst i have ever seen at my home in north ga. my truck was completely covered in leaves small limbs and debris. took a while to remove all the debris so the truck could be washed. noticed when wash started a oily type film over all truck that just smeared. using a ph neautral car shampoo eventually finished wash. this is when i noticed the big difference. the panels coated with cquartz still beaded and water sheeted absolutely amazing. the rest of the truck with 2 week old coat of wax showed no beading or sheeting of any kind product was gone. this product impressed me holding up through that storm. i have since finished coating truck and the shine is amazing. i will update this review after a few months with results on product

Excellent Product
Nothing but good things to say so far. I purchased and applied a couple of months ago. So, unsure how long it will last. I properly prepped my car in advance and applied two coats. Super easy to apply vs. most other products I've used in the past. Nice quality, shine and water beading. Highly recommended!

Great product easy to use
Applied this to my new black suv, was very easy to use. Prep is obviously big I clay barred and cleaned with fallout remover to make sure paint was smooth and clean. Itโs been over a month car always has a nice shine water beads off like a ducks back. Any finger prints the kids leave on wipe off with a microfibre cloth like nothing was there. I will be using the reload spray to maintain in for the next couple years

Excellent ceramic coating - doesn't get any better
Lasts very long. So far I have done a few coatings with CarPro products and it is excellent. Make sure you watch videos and learn how to prepare the surface correctly first. This is key. Ensure you do not apply in hot sun as well, a garage is better within the ambient temperatures they recommend. It really adds to the shine of the car, especially when you wash with CarPro washes as well (I use the HydroFoamSi).
