Good product but only useful for light working

The media could not be loaded.  Work perfectly... But a little bit costly.

Writing this review after 2 years of casual use at home. Screw driver is pretty good with different torque options. Used it without charging for 2 years, didn't need to. Finally when it got all discharged completely with no juice left I tried to charge it with accompanied OEM charger. It kept showing green light on screwdriver LED indicator and wasn't charging properly. There was hardly any torque after charging and it would die out immediately. Checked the product manual that says it needs 17hrs to charge fully so did the same but to no avail. Manual doesnot specify the LED light color code for charging, so I was thinking that green light is fine and probably should turn off once the battery is full but nothing it still kept green after more than 17hrs of charging and screwdriver was still limping hardly able to move few rotations before it died out. After much deliberation I checked the charger output and to my surprise it was showing ~14volts while it should be outputting ~6volts. High voltage from the charger was preventing the screwdriver battery from getting charged, probably due to overvoltage protection circuit inside the screwdriver. So changed the charger with a proper 6volt charger. Now it is showing charging light in red on screwdriver and charging slowly, screwdriver is showing good torque and is not powering down so fast. I believe once it's completely charged the LED light should turn green. It has been charging for more than 14 hrs now. Let's see. Probably my experience will help some folks here looking for a solution to the screwdrivers charging problem if facing it.

Dislikes : not made for long industrial work.Like : very nice for site use where we have to go and visit 4 different location and need to screw and unscrew the instruments . better than Bosch screwdriver due to light because very nicely inbuilt 4leds which is brilliantly placed in the bdcs36f screwdrive. This is my review add after use of more then 8 months : This is a very nice and proper tool for house hold truely fits in the price range.I think every household has to buy this tool. It's very fine product of black and decker. It's far better then bosch and any other company tools.I am using this tool for my site location work and for house use also.But not perfect for Continuos 4to5hrs of industrial use.But best for service and maintain of site location work. Where one must go to 3to4sites and doing service and maintain of electrical, electronic also small mechanical maintenance work.Very nice product by black and decker. Good job black and decker nice craftmenship for this perfect tool.

There is not enough power on any settingHave to use screw drivers to unscrew or screw. Also there the bits does not have tight grip on the screw head

Good one for this price… battery life good and torque control makes it easy to work on different things
