Excellent tie-down straps
I needed to tie down a couple of good-sized solar panels (80" x 40", around 120 lbs total with fixtures) to the roof of my SUV, for a 650 mile trip. I wanted to hold the package together securely, and also to tie it down with virtually no bounce or slip. I chose these straps for the job, partly because they have a nice 20-foot length, but also because I noticed the seller's claims that these are high quality straps and latches.Since these straps are polyester, they are strong, and they have a small amount of give, but they are not as stretchy as nylon. This might seem a drawback in some ways, because contraction from stretch can take up some slack if the load loosens at all. On the other hand, if one checks a load during a journey, stretch can make a load seem tight after it has loosened. Either way, after several miles of travel, it is always good to tighten straps, because some loosening can normally be anticipated. In any event, these straps and their stitching seem very strong, well made for their load range, and they can be very tightly cranked down by hand (within the strap rating), without a hint of trouble. With the straps being good, the latch makes a difference. A ratcheting type is very handy, letting the straps be tightened at any time without first untying or loosening anything. These ratchets work smoothly and engage solidly. The handle gives good leverage for very firm tightening, yet these can be tightened as much or as little as one wishes without the ratchet or the strap slipping. It is good to have a lot of latitude in tightening, and these ratchets can roll up 12-13" of strap length without difficulty in engagement. Smooth working, tight or less so, strong, secure.Next, the hooks on the straps are strong, deep, and well curved, so that they do not easily fall off, bend, or fail under tension. With the strap well tightened, there is no visible indication of tension in the hooks. The protective coating on the hooks handles the stress well.I am pleased with these straps, and I am glad that I do not need to struggle with sticky ratchet movement, lack of leverage, short strap ratcheting range, structural weakness ( bending or breakage of parts), roughly stamped metal, slippage, difficult release, any of the several problems that I have found with tie-downs of lesser quality. The lifetime warranty and the sturdy carrying bag are nice to have as well.I am only a buyer and a user of this product, and I was looking for something that would work truly well at a minimal price. I realize that I might sound like a seller, simply because I really do like these tie-downs. I am all too familiar with using straps that kind of work, um, pretty well.

Work Great, Really Beefy, Love the Rubber Grips
Everything about these works perfectly. I like the high visibility. I love the rubber grips pads. (Other tie-downs I've had did not have those and these are a welcome relief.). And I love how they just feel beefy and well made.I've used these twice now and both times they worked as expected.I really, really love the bag to carry these in. No more wound-up straps lying around wherever my kids happen to leave them....My only complaint is the length of the straps. It's a nit-picky complaint..... I have not tied down anything that required that kind of length, so I end up pulling lots of cord through before ratcheting them down. I do use the extra line to tie down anything else that may be loose, or flap, or not be totally secure.I'm sure at some point, I'll be really grateful to have all the extra and I'll cuss myself for being so lazy....I did have a customer-service experience with Bison Gear (on their bungee cords), and I have to say, their customer service went way, way above and beyond the call of duty. I wish all retailers (Amazon or non-Amazon) were as customer-oriented as these guys.Highest, highest marks to the Tie-Downs, the bungees, and Bison Gear in general!!!(Edited to add: I threw away the original plastic strap holder. While handy, it was just too tight of a fit for carrying bag.)

Excellent customer service, high quality product
I used these to hang my sun sails. They may be bigger than the strings but they work a whole lot better than those swivel pulls and will go up and down easier in the spring and winter.I have other ratchet straps but these were higher quality with covered hooks, higher quality ratchets, and 20' straps where everyone else had 15' straps. The soft straps were also a nice touch that made it easier to wrap around the posts.

"Caution" missing
Absolutely minor detail, as the straps work however, the "Caution" labeling on the straps themselves is missing. Otherwise, as advertised.

These straps really surprised me! Very strong! Good quality!
These straps really surprised me my first impression was the width of them was a little small. Handle is very easy to use and functions very smooth. It said 2,200lb break strength and they mean it I was cutting up this tree and tying it all off with these straps and lowering them they endured the fall of the tree sections and endured lowering of the tree sections. These straps are incredible. The caution written on these make them look very professional. I felt absolutely professional the whole time using these straps they were definitely put to the test from me. Couldn’t recommend enough. Very impressive.
