Love this, best splatter screen I’ve ever had. It fits is storage, the handle retracts smoothly as advertised and it’s well made and worth every penny!

It works really well at blocking all the splatter from coming out of the pan. Its made from good quality and retains heat really well. Very happy with it.

Haven't needed it yet but it feels like the best splatter guard I've had or seen. The outer ring of stainless with screen in the center looks like a great idea. It should allow the cooking to breathe with less greasy fog. It fits just inside a 12" wok and over all but an extra-large skillet. The only construction possible problem I see are the tack welds of the handle - but this is the case on many stainless utensils and mostly does not result in failure. In any case there is little if any stress on the folding handle.. Will write another review if these observations don't hold up in any way, but I doubt it.

Our old splatter guard probably pre-dated our marriage in the mid-1990's. It worked, but it was too big, awkward to use and to store, and I wasn't using it. The new one answers all of those issues, plus it feels perfectly sized for my cast iron, and it looks great. I cook on the stovetop a lot more without fear of making a huge mess. It's not that there's no mess, say, when I cook bacon or grill a couple of lamb chops, but it's a smaller mess and that makes a big difference to me. Plus it looks a lot better than the screen-door relic that it replaced. This cleans up fine by hand or in the dishwasher, Screen feels sturdy, as does the frame. Love the folding handle, but the way it locks into place during use is the one part for which I question the durability. Even if it starts failing to lock, I expect to be able to adjust it with a pair of pliers. The graduated indentions in the frame are a nice touch, which allows you to center it over the skillet by feel. Good value for the money spent.

Absolutely the best splatter screen I have ever used. One trick I learned: Move the pan off of the stove before removing the screen so grease does not pop all over. I am sure most of you know that, but I am a guy (lol). The screen guard cleans up very easily as well. I can cook greasy hamburgers and no cleanup is necessary on my induction cooktop.

While this splatter guard works reasonably well, my biggest complaint is that the stainless steel rim portion tends to warp as soon as the guard is placed over a hot pan. When this happens, the guard doesn't rest squarely on the pan rim, allowing spatters to escape through the gap between the pan and the guard. Kind of defeats the whole purpose. On the other hand, I like the folding handle, which makes storage simpler, and fitting the guard in the dishwasher much easier.

Fantastic design! So much better and more efficient than the older, old fashioned just round screens only. This has a metal border with a closer-knit screen in the middle for better splatter control, yet still great viewing of food. It fits all sizes, and you can reverse it for a better fit on some pots/pans if needed.

Keeps the oil splatter off the stove. Love the different groves so it can fit any pan. Easy to clean.

This is a great kitchen item. It covers 3 different frying pans and with foldable handle it slides into place with cutting boards.
