Impressed!
Great product! Used it on my brand new saw and it works great, cutting through huge logs and the bar nor the chain got super hot. I have my oil set on full with my 28 in. bar and after a gallon of gas I still had a quarter gallon of bar oil left. Over all Iโm impressed. Even though itโs a bit expensive I think itโs worth it. (You get what you pay for)

Buy it, you will see what you been missing
I ordered this because I have one particular chainsaw that doesnโt like the sti** brand bar oil because itโs too thick therefore smokes the bar. The other and most important reason is that Iโm a subscriber and huge fan of Buckin Billy Ray on YouTube who has an episode where he toured the factory and showcased all the test they perform on the bar oil. I was highly impressed with them and thanks to Buckin Billy Ray I knew what I needed to use. So Iโve been using this bar oil in that one finicky saw and I have to say It has delivered 100% no more chain smokin from low lubrication and also I have noticed that the chain doesnโt need to be tightened as much as before and I can only deduct that itโs because of DGP keeping the chain properly lubricated therefore it runs cooler and not stressing the metal allowing it to stretch. Being biodegradable is an awesome plus because itโs better for the environment than the manufactures brand. DGP gets an A+ in my book on going above and beyond, and in todayโs business climate its refreshing and nostalgic to find a company that has the vision of the way American businesses used to be. And a huge thanks to Buckin Billy Ray for doing a very informative you tube episode on the plant tour, he is a great YouTube creator.

Best chainsaw bar oil available today
I think this bar oil is second to none now that I have used it for some time. I tried it because it was recommended on "Buckin Billy Ray" Youtube videos and I was give a sample last year in October at the DGP booth at the Paul Bunyan forestry show. It lubricates extremely well and flows much easier during cold temperatures than standard bar oil. Give it a try and I think you will like it.

If you run a expensive lightweight bar it's a must!
Best bar oil ever made period! I've been cutting tamarack for firewood and it usually gums and makes a mess of the bar. It's like it cleans it while it cuts! Not to mention it barely heats the bar up. I'm running a 28in stihl light bar buckin 30 to 50+ in rounds and it blows my mind on how it works. Not to mention it lengthens the life of the bar. I hate the fact it costs as much as it does. But it's worth every penny. If u care about ur saws it's a game changer.

MUCH Better Than Expected!!
So I have to admit I was sceptical - BBR runs this in his 572xp which is an AutoTune and my AutoTunes (550xp mark ii 572xp & 592xp) were always starving for oil regardless of the adjustment to the oiler. The Petroleum products- top of the line too-- were thick like real maple syrup mixed with purple KoolAid powder for added flavor and color (hahaha JK) and had trouble with variations in outdoor temps, and humidity levels which are nothing if not erratic in my area... and the viscosity of them was just not right- almost like the syrup mixed with wood chips turned into pancake batter. And so what would happen was the oil would clog up in a matter of minutes of cutting-- and because the combo of wood chips, dust, and the sticky thick purple bar oil was clogging up the oiler valve = my bar not getting properly oiled- instead my clutch cover and everything inside of it was getting caked up tight with friction-causing wet gooey crap. So I gave this a try- and boy i'm happy I did! It's not purple like the petroleum products, it's a vegetable oil yellow and translucent bordering on transparent. It's not only better for the earth, it's a million times better for my saws! It's totally amazing how well it stays in my bar groove and the drive links! Visibly to the naked eye without having to do a test on a fresh cut stump or round - you can see it glistening in the light, having thoroughly lubricated the chain and staying that way. Even though I have now been able to adjust my oiler to the correct level for the bar length I'm running. AND proofs in the pudding... was going through 3/4 of the tank of bar n chain per tank of gas before this and they all were leaking like a siv (sp?) when they were put in park for the night. Now it's 4 tanks of fuel to 1 refill of bar oil with this stuff and bo more leaking on my garage floor (cardboard under the hangers and cubbies for each one to get a good night's sleep) I'd call that a really great value. And the durability? Well it's incredible! My bars aren't getting hot like before when I could see the heat coming off my RSNs and going through expensive 100 to 200+ bars far sooner than I have ever seen before with my saws in the old days-- before AutoTune which is great when you get used to it although I miss tuning my carbs by ear... Oh anyway, with the manufacturers of saws having to follow strict emissions and noise laws, it's changed the design of the stock mufflers. Granted I don't run em stock, but still, it's not like they should HAVE to be modded just to run cool enough not to smoke your clutch, piston, seals, crank bearing seals, etc. Um what else - Ease of use? Actually it's a little easier to not overflow the pour with the light color, and the smaller bottle (which lasts 4X the petrol so this pint is like 2 liters of the Petroleum products. Highly recommend!

Works well
Iโve been using this oil in my small chainsaw for over a year now. My husband thought it odd I wanted to use vegetable based oil, but he noticed right away how cleanly it burns. Iโve probably cut down close to 100 small trees on our property, and cut up numerous downed trees and branches for firewood, and my saw is still running like a top.
