Light but solid
Very happy with this sneaker, and very happy that the sizing is so accurate because we needed it right away for back-to-school. It's light-weight but more solid than even other light NB sneakers. Very happy!

Size is too small!
The tag written on the shoes say it's 43 EU size but it's not even 40, defect products and maybe not original.

Good shoes spoiled by weak upper fabric
I have had many pairs of New Balance running shoes. I liked these shoes so much when I bought them in April 2021 that I bought two more pairs when they were offered at a good price. They have a good tread which gives some grip when running on mud and were comfortable.I have only covered about 250kms in them but the right shoe has a hole over my big toe and the fabric is starting to tear by my little toe. The left shoe is still OK. Since I've got two more pairs, the first pair is now in the bin and I've moved my Sorbothane insoles to the second pair.

Not as good as I hoped, light, but little cushioning. Very thin and cheap feeling insoles.
I had high expectations after using NB M890 and M1500 running shoes in the US for several years. I guess you really only get what you pay for as at under 40 quid these are more about getting the brand cheap than the quality I had hoped for. A couple of months ago I bought a 33 quid pair of SOLLOMENSI (UBFEN) shoes that get great reviews on Amazon. I have clocked up about 120 miles walking on those in 6 weeks and they are holding up ok. The NB shoes are 285g (size 10. 5 2E width), the UBFEN shoes are 400g and noticeably heavier. Some of that weight is in the insole, and in that respect the UBFEN is far superior. THe NB insole feels thinner than even a cheap odor eater, maybe 2mm, the UBFEN insole is twice as thick and has extra padding at the heel which makes for a much more comfortable experience. The sole of the NB shoe however is much better cushioned, so with a decent insole, the NB would be (probably) a much better shoe. But this makes it a close to 50 quid shoe overall competing with a 33 quid shoe. I'll update in a while once I have clocked up some miles and see how they compare on wear. I suspect the insoles will not last very long regardless and I'll be out another 10 quid or so.

Great trainers but labeling needs to be better. Labelling should match the width that you ordered.
I brought them for my son and he says they fit well as he has wide feet. The only issue I have is the labelling. The box says X Wide, size 11 but the tag says Wide, so you don't really know if they are actually X wide or not. I brought a previous pair the same as these in X Wide but in size 10.5 and they had the same Wide tag instead of X Wide. They ended up not being wide enough. Likely they fit my other son so I gave it to him otherwise I would of sent them back.

Treat your knees and you wallet both
Cushioning is gimmick free, soft and decently thick without feeling tall or inflexible so perfectly good for taller, heavier runners like me. Fit is excellent due to the modern sock style of construction and the various width fittings are a godsend for the wide of hoof. Stability and grip are both sufficient for light trails, loose gravel, shifting sands and wet grass etc. But then who wants to mindlessly bash the tarmac when they don't have to? Aside from most other runners I see that is...These shoes just work.

Cheap material and unsupportive.
Really not good for new balance...The material felt cheap and thin, the soles felt very unsupportive under my feet, and they just weren't that nice to walk in.My 10 Yr old new Balance trainers were more comfy than these, and unfortunately I'm really struggling to find another new balance as good as they used to make them.
