My recent fav psychological thriller!!
✨Alice and Leo decides to move into a new home at the Circle to start their lives together.✨The first twist starts with Alice inviting every family in the Circle for an intro party and a new person joins the party with fake identity.✨And slowly when Alice gets to know her neighbours, she gets to know a hidden secret about the house she stays in.°°✨Her dream slowly starts to shatter and she tries to dwell deep into the discovered truth about the past of the house.✨And this truth discovers many other dark truths of the people she trusts the most.°°✨Will Alice survive the discoveries she made and opts to stay in the house with Leo?✨Will Alice discover the identity of the fake person entered into her home on the intro party?✨Who the real mystery person is in the story?✨You would get a list of questions like these upon reading each chapter and the end answers it all.******✨Trust me, there are twists and turns until the very last chapter and you won't regret picking this book up.✨This would be my recent fav psychological thriller and it keeps up to the hype received on book insta.

My Review for The Therapist
A psychological thriller, very dramatic, starts of slow and quickens towards the end - this book is a highly entertaining and a very engaging read.I absolutely adored how the author has depicted each of her characters as extremely flawed and has highlighted the terrible issues in relationships that stem from lack of trust.

Disappointed
I have been a huge fan of B A Paris’ work. For some reasons her work has ability to keep you engrossed. However, this one didn’t go as I expected. The beginning is a bit hurried and jumps from one story to another. The middle part of the story is filled with banal narratives such as most of the women living in The Circle end up having tea/coffee get together every now and then, at some point it gets annoying. The ending is another disappointment. Just because author doesn’t want readers to guess the killer doesn’t mean they should put unexpected characters in order to fill their narratives. I gave 3 stars only because I love B A Paris and even with its flaws the book somehow manages me to draw my attention. Hence 3 🌟

Over all love it
This is very great book. It's really psychological thriller. It is hard to stop reading once you had started. I love this book. Worth paying. It's a page turner. But end is little bit predictable but you will still like it. You are gonna love it.....fully recommended....!!

Predictable with no thrills
As the saying goes "Never Judge a book by it's cover". This one was pretty on outside and dissapointing on the inside. The book is extremely predictable, absolutely has no rounds of surprise. Not worth my time and money.

The Therapist - Awful waste of money
I bought and read this book, taking into account that it was a Sunday times best seller. I was disappointed after the first few chapters. It was no better than the free books I have read on my kindle. There was no intrigue, depth. Every paragraph it seemed, as though Alice thought the murderer was someone in the circle, her partner, the estate agent..... It was a tedious and disappointing read. Intense... It was not .....

Slow and boring, nonsense!
The main character is unlikable and slightly hysterical. Nothing about her reasoning is logical or believable! Her relationship with Leo would not have got passed the first date in reality. The theme of the murder victim having the same name as her dead sister is nonsensical. Although her parents apparently died in the same accident little mention is given to them. The whole book was a hard slog, one I wished I'd not bothered with by the convoluted unconvincing end!

Not for me!
I really don’t understand the hype about this book. I thought it was a ridiculous far-fetched yarn, full of one dimensional characters - the main protagonist a moany, single-minded, unlikeable female. The ‘twists’ were implausible as was the story itself. I won’t be reading any more BA Paris books now.

Best book of 2021 so far!
Definitely a return to form for BA Paris after I didn’t enjoy her previous book. This is the best book I have read this year and I get through a book every week.Gripping page turner, great characters, absolute whodunnit that you genuinely can’t put down!

Hard Work
I generally like the work of B.A. Paris and have huge admiration for anyone who can actually write a book and get it published and sold! I have to say, at 55% I am struggling. It feels a bit like wading through treacle - laborious, not very rewarding and hoping there might be something to make it worthwhile on the other side. Not much character development, nothing to draw me to the characters and just a bit bland. I hate leaving a poor review and of course it is only my opinion, but read it with moderate expectations. I will finish it, but very easy to put down.
