Levi's Women's Classic Bootcut Jeans

The media could not be loaded. Wow, these jeans are IT!! I’m 5’4” & weigh 160lbs. I ordered the 31x32. The length is perfect, not too short yet not too long. There is room in the waist so I could’ve done a 30 waist, but I don’t like tight jeans. They are stretchy denim, not stiff. I’m not a fan of stiff denim, so these are perfect. Love the dark color of the jeans,. They can go with anything. They are durable and you can dress them up or down. They are so flattering on the peach 🍑. I think they run a little big but not so much that you need to size down.

I love the Levi’s classic boot cut style, but these in indigo are a miss for me. I’m curvy, 5’ 4”, and wear a 14. I’ve had them in other colors that I’ve worn until they nearly fell apart. But there’s something about the fabric in the dark indigo color that’s different. They don’t really feel like jeans to me. More like extremely stretchy chinos that are cut like jeans. There’s such a large amount of stretch that they don’t feel like they’ll last long through regular launderings.The color is more of a solid dark blue without the usual denim texture I expect from jeans. The fabric is almost kind of fuzzy. It attracts lint and pet hair like that’s its job. If one of my cats touches me, I have to use a lint roller or else wear pet hair all day.Although the fit is technically perfect and they’re very comfortable, they’re also very unflattering on me. They are SO stretchy that they feel almost like jeggings. Instead of flattering my figure, they accentuate everything that I’d rather not accentuate. The only way I wear them is with an oversized hoodie that covers my hips completely.It just feels like the fabric is very different from Levi’s classic boot cut that I’ve had in other colors. As I mentioned, this cut is usually perfect for me. There’s just something about them in dark indigo that I really don’t like. I’ll keep them but I won’t wear them very often.

I love the fit and comfort of these jeans, so I'm so glad I took the advice of some other reviewers and ordered a size down. I'm 5'5", 140 lbs and normally wear a size 6/28, so the 4/27 medium fits almost perfectly. They were still a little long for me after a couple of runs through the washer and dryer so I had to hem them. Because these jeans are lightweight denim they were not too difficult to hem myself with the right needle and thread (and a YouTube tutorial!). Also, a good tailor can adjust the length and reattach the hem if you don't have time or prefer not to DIY it.. With that said, my advice is if you are in between inseam lengths I'd go with the longer option. You can always take away length, but you can't add it if your jeans are too short or if they shrink.Update: So, since I love the first pair of these jeans I ordered, I decided to order another pair in a different color/wash. I ordered a size down (4 med) just like the previous pair expecting them to fit the same. I like the fit and they're comfortable, but the fit is a bit different than the first pair: slimmer through the hips and thighs, with less of a flare and a lower rise (measured to be 1/4" lower than the first pair). So, just be advised!

These would be perfect if they fit my thighs properly like the other 30x30 I have. The length is fine but the thighs have a LOT more room than the other same sized Levi’s I own. The baggy leg look is not very flattering on me. Very strange, maybe a one off?
