It's used to clean the endfaces of fiber optic cables with cleaning cube (model NFC-Cube) or cards (model NFC-Cards). Put a dab of the solvent on the material, touch the end of the fiber to that spot, then wipe the endface from the wet to the dry area. You can also use it to clean ports using swabs (NFC-Swabs-1.25mm or NFC-Swabs-2.5mm). After cleaning, you should inspect to make sure that the endface or port is actually clean to avoid contaminating or damaging what you're connecting to.
