Was in iniitally suspicious (and nervous) of using it, but I'm very happy with the results. Actually better than the results that were produced by a 'professional' who came and fixed an earlier chip. I even managed to use the kit to improve the earlier effort, although the results here were naturally limited by the fact that the earlier fix had probably sealed the cracks to prevent the ingress of new resin. A very worthwhile investment.

This product is useless and dangerous for your windshield. Zero stars if I could. Do NOT buy this product! I bought this kit to fix a small windshield crack based on good reviews, but it was a total disaster. The resin inside is extremely poor quality—it’s far too watery and thin. When applied, it just forms a useless, paper-thin layer that fails to fill or bond the crack at all. To make matters worse, while following the instructions to press the repair device onto the glass, the excessive pressure created a SECOND crack! Now my windshield is damaged further, and it’s non-refundable. Completely useless and dangerous for your car. Save your money and avoid this trap!

I just bought a further two of these kits to be kept in our cars as I had left it some time before trying to repair a stone chip and 2-3 radiating cracks on my windscreen but this did a fabulous job leaving the cracks filled and the screen smooth so as not to create lines when using the windscreen wipers. I’m very pleased with the result.

Really easy to use, didn’t come with a UV light though but luckily had a nail lamp which seemed to work. Didn’t clear the chip fully but has made a lot of difference and glass now smooth. Shown before and after…

I got this kit to replace a crack that I got in my windscreen. Initially when I ordered it, it looked fairly small and fixable based on my limited previous experience. Unfortunately, by the time the kit had come, the crack had spread, however I still had hope. The set up is pretty easy and the instructions are ok. I did heat up the windscreen slightly as this is supposed to help the resin flow into the crack easier, however this just resulted in the suction cups breaking and coming off the tool but I'd put that down to user error more than the kits fault. When I initially put pressure on the crack and began to fill it, it seemed to work ok, it didn't leak and looked to fill the crack slowly. The resin filled the crack a decent amount but then would just not flow into it any further. The part of the tool that makes contact with the windscreen is supposed to put pressure on the crack and prevent resin leaking out of the tool, however each time a decent amount of resin seemed to leak. Overall, it's fairly easy to use, however I'm not blown away by it in the slightest. If the crack hadn't spread before I had chance to attempt a repair, I believe that this kit could have potentially done a semi-decent job, however it's filled the main body of the crack and left the outer parts of the crack still visible.

After receiving a stone chip last Friday, I rang my usual professional repairer who usually charges £30-40 to do a stone chip repair. However, this time, because it was below the line of the dashboard, they were unable to attempt a repair. The main dealer wouldn't have anything to do with this when I asked them about the price of a windscreen and they said that they would contract this work out and suggested 'just claim on the insurance'. As the windscreen is heated, has auto mirrors, lane assist and adaptive cruise control etc, the price to replace and recalibrate the camera from my usual repair shop was £750. As I have just changed insurers and didn't want the faff and the chip was below the eyeline in the dark edging of the windscreen, all I was worried about was the chip turning into a crack or getting worse. So, I thought that I would have a go at this kit. I didn't expect a great deal cosmetically, but as long as the bullet hole was consolidated to prevent spread, and it was sealed from water ingress, that's all I wanted. I read the instructions carefully (twice) and watched a You Tube video, then cracked straight on. Because of where the bullet hole was, it was difficult to get the centre of the jig alignend with the impact zone, but once I had done this, I just did what the instructions said. The results speak for themselves - the windscreen is almost like new. When it is in the direct sunshine, you can see some very minor areas where the resin didn't penetrate, but they are so small, if you didn't know they were there, you wouldn't see them. I took the pictures after in the garage where I took the before pictures so a direct comparison could be made. This kit has saved me a shed load of money and its performance has exceeded my expectations. Would recommend it to anyone who has an unrepairable stone chip. It may work like magic as it did for me. If not, you have nothing really to loose and could save an insurance claim or significant financial outlay if you wanted to avoid the insurance.

Do not buy waste of money doesn’t work if anything my crack got worse after using this and then had to get a full new window after. A tiny stone chip then added this and what waste of time

This isn’t a ‘one size fits all’ solution but it’s very good. The result will depend a lot on the type of crack to be filled. Some will be filled completely and practically disappear. Others, like mine will be improved. That is, some of the fracture was filled with the sealant but not all. My photos are ‘before and after’. I may try again to see if it’s possible to force any more sealant in. Overall I’m very happy with the results. As with most things, take your time, preparation is key. The equipment is well made and instructions, though not perfect, are understandable… eventually! As someone else said, it’s a shame more sealant isn’t included, ie a bit of a bigger bottle. All in all I’m very pleased.

Hatte einen Heftigen Steinschlag mit innerer Blase. Ich hab bereits in der Zeit als KFZ-Mechatroniker Scheiben instandgesetzt. Daher kann ich in erster Linie nur das Material bewerten und dieses ist Top. Wer hier Probleme mit dem Instandsetzen hat, folgt entweder nicht der Anleitung oder arbeitet nicht ordentlich genug. Wer grundsätzlich zwei linke Hände hat und z.B Möbel vom Lieferdienst aufbauen lässt, sollte demnach einen Bogen um dieses Produkt machen.

I had high hopes for this windscreen repair kit, but it turned out to be a complete waste of money. The instructions were vague, making the application process confusing. After following the steps carefully, the cracks on my windshield barely improved—if anything, they still look the same! The resin is too thin and doesn’t seem to fill the cracks properly. The curing process is also frustrating, meaning you have to rely on sunlight (which isn’t always reliable). After waiting for hours, the result was still disappointing. Save your money and invest in a professional repair instead. This kit is all hype with little actual results!

Giving 5 star aa it solves the purpose. There was minute crack on the windscreen & this solution has fixed almost 95% of it. Just the crack lines are visible & that is only minie if anyone see very minutely. Visibility is proper at the crack point there is not any issue after applying & wipers also working fine.

Finger weg von diesem Produkt! Ich habe es nach genauer Anweisung angewendet. Und beim "pressen" des Resin ist die Scheibe noch ein Stück mehr eingerissen, so dass sie nun vollständig kaputt ist! RAUSGESCHMISSENES Geld. Und nun kommen die Kosten für eine neue Scheibe (ca. 1000) hinzu. NIE WIEDER
