Doms X1 X-Tra Super Dark Pencils 1 Pack - 10 Pencils - 1 Eraser + 1 Sharpner + 1 Protection Cap Free

I am a carpenter by trade, but I don’t like regular carpenters pencils. Tried a #2 pencil but it wasn’t good for carpenters. Too fine and not dark enough. Couldn’t find a #1 pencil until I found this set. Wonderful pencil. Dark, thick enough lines, and easy to sharpen. Highly recommend.

If you haven't tried pencils from India and/or Pakistan yet, it's time to change that, and the Doms X1 is a great pencil to begin your adventure. While "X-Tra Super Dark" may be a bit of an exaggeration, it does lay down a dark line. The lead just glides across the paper. But you're going to pay a price for it -- lots of sharpening. In a college rule notebook, I can write about three lines before I need to sharpen. I would rate the graphite at about a 3B.It is an attractive pencil with an alternating blue and silver paint scheme on the hexagonal barrel sides. There is a white band near the end, which is a blue cap. The paint finish quality is a bit lacking, with pain runs now and then. It does not have an eraser. Sharpening is very easy, and will take a long sharp point.The bonus eraser is a very good one, I haven't tried the sharpener, and I love having a cap to protect my point when it's in transit.This is perhaps the best pencil value going, and I highly recommend it.

These dark pencils are difficult to find. As the point wears down, it writes even darker. I’m glad these were available.A wonderful pencil, if you can say that about a pencil. I write a lot on my logbook during ham radio contacts.It’s easier for me to see. When these are used up, I certainly will order more. It’s hard to get excited about a simple pencil, but I am. I think you will like these, if you want darker writing.

Soft lead #1 can be hard to find. Tried these Doms, but not impressed. They are indeed soft and dark lead, but brittle wood really grinds and chatters when you put them through an old fashioned crank-type sharpener. No eraser either. I'm switching back to good old Dixon #1.

These pencils make a very readable dark print. My only issue is they don’t have erasers.

This is a good pencil.The set cones with a little eraser in a plastic case and also has a clear blue sharpener that sharpens smoothly while not using too much of the pencil. Sharpens to a lovely point.I didn't know what to expect and I'm so glad I took a chance!Also ordered the DOMS triangle sharpened pencils right after. Cones with a ruler and sharpener and tube-shaped eraser that smells wonderful. Reminds me of middle school.You cannot beat this price.Obsessed!

It was stated that these pencils are Xtra dark. They ate not. Same as a #2 pencil. Not what I expected.

I like soft dark lead in a pencil, something that writes smoothly & easy, don't rip paper, and is easily seen ( better than the standard #2)This pencil fit the bill perfectly!
