Chinese Junk
I bought 2 of these rods, neither of which had any use to speak of and not abused or mishandled. Both broke recently in the same place (rod tip) on the same fishing. Quantum has a 5yr. warranty and will replace them if I send them back but that cost must be considered. Why bother, go somewhere else for your fishing rods, their reels are OK but definitely not these rods.

Priced Good
Reasonable sensitivity. Would like to see Fugi guides included. Have not had a chance to see how the rod performs under harsh conditions. Good price. A few days after I commented on this rod, I was fishing bass and my lure got hung up. The tip of the rod broke and I was not over bending the rod. I have had the same problem with other brand rods in this price range.. Quantum may have better performing rods in a higher price range.

Watch the fragile tips, they are prone to snapping off.
I was pleased with these inexpensive rods until I got them home and the tips were both broken off.... I have no idea how, but during transport....?? (They travelled with 5-6 other rods that made it home in one piece.....)

A broken rod
The box was perfect but whoever put in the box had to know it was bike. The stem was still in the bottom half. It’s going back but we know how this means take to ship back then try to get your money back.

Get what you pay for !
Fishing rod arrived with tip broken off.It did come in a good box for delivery but I'm questioning durability..Also middle eyelet is a little off center. Fortunately I was able to repair the pole by cutting off broken piece and re gluing on new end eyelet. Thus saving the hasle of a return.
