The real deal
This is delicious! It 100 percent date unlike others that are cheaper. When it comes to things like this pay the extra! I also eat it when I have heartburn. It does help and I have severe heartburn.

Banana ice cream...
I add this to my NAMA juicer (with the sorbet attachment) when making banana ice cream. It adds a great flavor. I saw recipes that said to add softened dates to the ice cream but, I figured this would be even easier. It's very sweet, so I don't need a lot. It is a little pricey, but it goes a long way so I feel like it's worth it.I'm currently on the AIP diet and this was one of the few sweet things I could eat. Definitely worth it!Side note: even when I'm not on this diet I'm going to continue eating banana ice cream. It is soooooo good!

A delicious sugar alternative!
We ordered this date spread to use as a sugar substitute while doing the Daniel fast. It is so delicious that we have used it both as a sweetener when baking, and also as a jelly to put on rice cakes, banana bread, etc. We like it so much that we plan to continue to use it even when the fast is over!

Sweetly perfect
This date paste was bought to sweeten and balance vinegarette dressings, AND to sweeten ice cream made in my Creami. It’s perfect and vegan, too. Refrigerate after opening.

Good date flavor. Not super sweet
This was a good tasting date paste. It has a soft date flavor, not overly sweet like some others I've tried. I'm guessing the others had added sugars, but it could also be that this version is more of a paste than a jam type of spread. This went very nicely on bread. It added the perfect amount of flavor. I also added it to my coffee in place of sugar. It gave my coffee a great flavor. It's a nice thick paste, and would work great in pastries, where you'd want to avoid date spreads with a runny consistency. My jar arrived intact, but the vacuum seal was already popped. I didn't notice any warning against consuming it in such cases, or if there was supposed to be a vacuum seal like most jars have. It did have another unbroken sticker, so I assumed it was safe.

Works for a holiday cookie filling
It saves a lot of time compared to working with dates, soaking them and chopping. Worked beautifully for the family recipe we have.

Makes great milkshakes.
I had a date milkshake when I went to California. I was wanting one and this works great and a whole lot cheaper.
