The person I gave them to is diabetic and said the cakes were delicious. A bit expensive though for just 4 cakes.

These cakes are a good sugar free alternative. Taste is not quite as good as if they were made with sugar but that is to be expected. Sponge is very moist. Also good microwaved for 20sec and served with sugar free custard.

Ordered these several times - previously soft, moist and a diabetic treat.Latest purchase 6th May 2022. Two packs Batch 21290 BBD 18/10/2022.The packs were sealed.The cakes were dry and firm, the chocolate "cream" almost solid.Either they had been over- baked, poorly stored or too near the best before date?Edible but not enjoyable and certainly not the treat I was looking forward to.

I would have given this more stars as the product is very tasty and unctious. But its got a lot of enumbers in the ingredients, including e171 which is no longer considered safe according to the eu food regulator.
