このレコードはBob Ludwig氏のマスタリングで、私が昔から持っているUKオリジナルよりも音がいいです。 オリジナルよりも再発盤のほうが音がいいという珍しいパターンだと思います。プレスはドイツのオプティマルです。また、昨年4枚組の50周年記念LPボックスが発売されましたが、同じマスターを使用しています。 ジャケットはオリジナルと異なりシングル仕様、ＷＡＶ音源のＤＬコードが付属しています。

Excellent album vinyle avec un tres bon son, joli livret interne. Parfait pour cet excellent album

Questo è un fondamentale del nostro! (Elton John). Preso per regalare, ne ho ho già diverse copie dell'epoca, tra le quali una autografata da Rick Wakeman che compare come strumentista nell'album. Per dire che è assolutamente originale: a me su Elton non mi si potrebbe ingannare! Contiene brani epici come Indian Sunset o come Tiny Dancer, resa nota ai più giovani da film come Almost Famous... o la mia preferita dell'opera omnia del duo inglese (Elton e Bernie) la splendida Goodbye. E' un album che dà soddisfazione anche come oggetto: contiene pagine da sfogliare con foto o disegni e i testi delle canzoni. Un tuffo negli anni '70 che restituisce la corposità del vinile.

Replacement for my well worn copy from the 60s. My fave EJ album, less commercialised with brilliant tracks & great lyrics. Sound quality & recording top notch, accompanied by a booklet on all the tracks & photos. Well packaged, LP came without stress and fast. Bloke’s heading down to Singapore sometime this year, hoping he doesn’t play CITW. Anyway, all’s good with this album.
