Just pop them open and they turn on instantly, throwing off enough light to easily illuminate an entire room. During outages, one lantern per room works perfectly - and with a 4-pack, that covers most of the house without scrambling. They’re lightweight, portable, and easy to move around. The grey color says “these have a purpose.” We’ve also used them outside while working in the dark, and they’re bright enough to be genuinely useful, not just “emergency dim.” Battery life has been solid so far, and I like that they run on standard AA batteries - no special chargers or cables to worry about. I love these little lights. You can easily adjust them for the amount of light you need by just pulling up the top. Just one lantern will light up a whole room, and it’s not that bright white that is blinding, it’s a softer white but still works great!!! Worth the money. I liked them so much that I bought some for my elderly parents so they won’t light dangerous candles if the power goes out.

Great lanterns. Come in a variety of fun colors. I love pink, so of course bought them. Very bright and can almost light up the entire room. Have handles to easily carry them around. The one downside is you have to buy the batteries. Most items you do, but a dozen needed in total for all four lanterns. It’s worth it. They do their job!

Excellent Product! People...get this product! I was totally shocked at how very well put together this product is. Even more surprised at the volume of light coverage it provides. I was like "no waaaaay"! Lol I took one of the lanterns from room to room. One lantern, literally lit up my entire bathroom, laundry room and closets. I was totally shocked! It's very easy to use and is extremely useful. It's made out of quality hard plastic. The color is nice. The weight is perfect. It takes 3 AA batteries. And the battery life depends on your usage. It's the type of product that you'll only want to use it when you need it, or for a quick use. It's very easy to use. The opening and closure mechanism is precision. I ordered the 4 pack in gray, and they're nice looking. I'm placing another order in a different color. This is definitely a keeper. Most definitely a keeper!

Love these little lanterns! They are a convenient size, easy to carry and use. They put off an incredible amount of light! Great for camping, power outages, as a flashlight... So many possibilities!
