If using as a filter change flush I add 1/2 can, drive for a few miles, then drop pan change fluid and filter,then add second half of can with proper amount of recommended fluid. I have followed that procedure for years on various makes and have had no problems. When you get your oil changed, you can ask the service station to put it in. No guarantee they will actually do it. Added this to the transmission and drove it around the neighborhood to get the fluid flowing. THIS STUFF WORKS!!! The transmission has 166k miles and fluid has never been changed. The transmission would not downshift when going up hills and would give a code for the solenoid. I bought this to clean up the transmission and free any stuck parts before doing a fluid change and this stuff did the job and then some. Transmission is shifting great and acts like a new transmission.
