I bought my size the first time and in order to get them above my roll of fat (I'm not 15), I have to pull them up, creating a really short, short. I ordered a second pair one size larger and they're still short but I can at least eliminate muffin top.

I use it for volleyball all the time and the waistband is super strong and able to hold my phone without it falling.
