Based on the fragility of the structure, I wouldn't recommend using wall adhesive tapes. The reason is, sometimes these things (tapes) separate from the wall slowly over time and the last thing you want is for your clock to go crashing to the floor. I attached mine with a simple screw in the wall - more secure attachment. Hope this helps. Lovely clock by the way.
