No applicator or instructions (though those might be on the package) so we used a makeup sponge and paintbrush and followed the reviews and some YouTube videos to make sure we applied it right. It activates with water so we got it wet and then also wet the sponge or brush. Really easy to apply with the brush but the sponge could get streaky so we did two coats and gave it just a few minutes to dry in between. The color is so vibrant! We purchased Pale Blue to get the Vampirina character look and it was perfect. Used for a full face for multiple events and still have plenty left so even though it seemed pricier to get a single color, it was well worth it. The main reason I'll go back to this forever is how easy it was to remove. Gave my 5.5 year old a wet wash cloth and she got it done in two minutes. I only had to go around the hairline to get hidden parts but I was really impressed as we were dreading having to get baby oil or other products out to remove it. It stayed really well for the 4 or so hours we needed it each time. Chose not to use a setting spray or baby powder but would recommend it for people going to conventions who need it to stay longer. There was one incident where after washing her hands they didn't get completely dry and she touched her face so there were some fingerprints of missing paint but not a big deal. Review: Best oompa loompa costumes ever! Thanks to Snazaroo face paint. - Yes, I and a group of 5 other adults dressed as oompa loompas this year (2015) for halloween. Naturally we needed orange face paint. After reading a lot of reviews and watching a few face paint tutorials I decided to go with snazaroo and found this product to be sold very reasonably priced by desertcart. It was very easy to use. Just add a little water and swirl it around with your finger until the paint is pliable. Then we finger painted our faces and neck which took maybe 5 minutes to completely cover someone's face. Very simple application. We could have used brushes but we were not doing anything delicate or artistic. Just gobs of orange all over the face! It worked great and looked great. We had compliments all night. I'd highly recommend it to anyone thinking of going as an oompa loompa and it's perfect for a group costume idea. I don't know how many applications would work for this 18ml sized product. The descriptions says it could do 50 to 100 full faces and I believe it. We did 6 and it hardly made a dent. This will last a long time. My wife who has fairly sensitive skin and breaks out in rash at the weirdest things was fine using this product. No one else experienced any allergic reaction problems. This washed off in one shower with minimal scrubbing and basic face soap. I was extremely worried about this as we flew out of the state the next day and didn't want to have to explain to TSA why our faces were orange. "Really bad spray on tan?" A warning on this point...this paint will get everywhere. Wash your hands after application really well or everything you touch will have smudges of orange or whatever color you choose to use if you finger paint. I had a few fingerprints smudged on my laptop and going through security at the airport made the TSA agents a little curious about it sending it through the scanner again and inspecting it by hand. **Q: How much surface area will one container of this cover? I need it for my face/neck and from elbow to shoulders.  Will just one cut it?**
A: Most definitely! I've done what you've mentioned twice now and have at least 3/4 of the container left! I would recommend buying two if you have the money because it's always better to have way too much than potentially run out in the rare chance you need to touch all of it up again!

**Q: I'm cosplaying as Nepeta and Sollux and I was wondering would I need 1,2,or 3 if I'm cosplaying as them over a 3 day period at a con?**
A: Well, 1st thing - the correct applicator is CRUCIAL!!!  Cotton balls suck, the red/blue sponges you can buy online make splotches and doing it by fingertip means uneven coverage.  We used a very soft piece of flannel and found it didn't hold on to much of the makeup as we applied.  Now, for you question...iif you are covering a lot of skin (arms, chest, face, etc...) several times I would go with at least 2 of the 18ml.  Thinking of the 2 we did at Kamicon, we had 2 and did touch up and re-sealed up every couple of hours or so.  You can go lighter on the coverage to get 2 to stretch the weekend due to the cost or if you want a darker/heavier coverage for each cosplay - maybe 3 would be best.  Always remember - seal, seal, and seal that makeup or you will leave cute grey streaks...everywhere!  I hope you have a great con weekend.

**Q: How good does this look on darker/ black skin?  I'm trying to cosplay Marceline the Vampire Queen.  Would a medium grey work better?**
A: i am Latino, and it looked fine on my skin. no weird miscoloration. the paint is pretty pigmented and non see-through, so as far as I know you shouldn't have any problems. :)

**Q: I'm in a musical playing a cat & I need to cover my face completely with black & white 3 times. Will one container of each color be enough?**
A: Yes! There is so much paint in it! I have covered my face and arms in grey nearly 7 times and have barely made a dent!!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product, great price.

I bought this for a Corpse Bride costume. It arrived a couple of days sooner than expected, so that was nice. I went ahead and tested the makeup on my skin since it's a bit sensitive and oily. I really like the makeup, and I prefer the price, too. I was going to buy Paradise's but they raised the price before I could buy. I ended up browsing again and found this brand. So, pros: it's a nice, pale blue that matches the shade of the character very well. I really like that about it, as I was worried it'd be too bright. It's pretty lightweight, didn't feel heavy or gross or anything, which is a problem I have with foundations sometimes. Cons: difficult to apply. I couldn't find my other makeup blender, so I ended up using a cotton ball. It was time-consuming to try and make this even, and even then it was blotchy in places. It comes off very easily, which is good in some ways so I'm not stuck with blue on my face, but when I want it on, I do want it to stay. Maybe I just need to experiment more with how to use it. It takes several layers to get it remotely decent looking. Would I buy again? Yeah, I would. I like the price a lot and it does the job well enough. It feels comfortable on my skin, which is a big plus. Would I recommend it? Yes, definitely. Especially if you know how to use this type of makeup. I'm sure someone who knows better can make it work well.
