are these free from any warping, such that they can be used as a lazy susan?

They are suppose to be but I had one that was but not bad enough to not be usable. I mad a lazy Susan and they worked very well. If they are warped I believe you can return them.

I have am confused now after reading all the questions. I want a 1 inch thick, 24 wide across round circle. Is this what I am looking for?

Hello. Well I bought the 36”x 1” side Circle. You want the 24” x 1” Circle and that is what you’ll get. I am happy with what I brought. I bought it to put my Christmas tree on it. I put the wood on one of my square end tables an it worked great.

The product dimensions state 12x12x1 for the 1x24. is the boards diameter 24" or 12"?

12" - Measured by the longest board of course. I do not recommed the rounds be used for anything heavy or be subjected to any moisture as mine came unglued in more than one place where joined.

Is the back side braced with anything?? Like an x

No. Just a solid wood piece. Made a very nice tabletop with it.
