Verbatim DVD+RW 43489 Spindle (Pack of 25)

Have previously used these type of discs for many years without any issues. It is not the case any more. My last but one purchase was not overly good, less than half the batch formatted successfully the others were useless. Against my better judgment I chose to purchase same again this last week. Delivery was prompt but that is the only good thing I have to say. Because of my previous issue I opened and proceeded to format the discs shortly after they were delivered. Not one single disc in the 25 pack formatted and I tried every disc twice. I then tried formatting discs that I already had, some used and some not used, they formatted fine and recorded OK too. Very unhappy, wasted nearly an hour trying to format these discs and then the hassle of printing off returns label and finding an appropriate drop off shop to send back.Have to ask this question: Has Verbatim gone to pot on its product quality control or is this product a fake and con? I await my refund. I had to give a star rating to be able to submit my review. My product rating is ZERO! 1 star is being generous for prompt delivery.

have used these before as well as other make dvd's. have been let down by one manufacturer who does not make them themselves any more but under licence from another supplier. their original red discs were good but the silver discs absolute rubbish with a fail rate on +rw over 50% their customer service was rubbish with them supplying a usb stick as a replacementas we like to reuse them we go for the re-writeable disc and so far have had no problem with thesehave had problems with others but usually through scratchingour dvd recorders are major main brand

The CDs are used for recording programmes on EP speed so the clarity of the picture is slightly less sharp than on SP recordings. They are used on two different machines, on one of which they quite noisy which is a disappointment. We've used Verbatim before without this problem.

After copying several hundred pages of my book on to disc I checked the quality of the printing and photos on another system, and found that the item was just what I expected, which was a perfect copy. The discs quality is very good and saved me from having to pay a publisher several thousands to print copies of my 12 years serving as a Sailor in the RAF Marine Branch.

After testing DVD + R, DVD - R, for cost and the reliability, we decided DVD RW is the best way to keep the important data. For hardware and human error, if the disk were to be useable only once, any mistake during burning process makes DVD blank useless. We have waster several new blank DVD due to this.Verbatim is good and reliable brand. The price sold by Amazon across online is the most competitive.As always, we recommend buying directly from Amazon or Fulfilled by Amazon in order to avoid dispute for non delivery or misplaced contents.
