These are very aesthetically pleasing salt and pepper grinders. I was sick of our electronic ones leaving a puddle of salt and pepper on the table when set down so I was specifically looking for manual grinders that grind from the top. This design also doesn’t allow dust to settle onto the top grinder since it is covered. They are build nicely. Grind pretty finely. They hold a large amount of salt and peppercorns. To grind by turning the upper half, works well and turns smoothly and easily. Very pleased with the value of this item.

These salt and pepper grinders are no different - very well built, easy to fill and unlike other grinders, the salt and pepper come out the top so no more grains on the kitchen surface.
