This mount does exactly what it needs to. That said, I wish it had more space between the metal mount attached to the clip and the end (where you squeeze to release). Might be hard for some people to get the leverage to open this when moving it around. Additionally, the clip covers (prevent scratches to whatever you clip it to) slide off too easily.Good:- Versatile mount with nice adjustments for most any position- Quality clip that opens wide enough for many cribs/bookshelves/whatever you want to clip it toBad (not deal breakers at all):- Clip might be hard to get leverage to open for some based on how the Arlo Baby attaches- protective clip covers slide off easily, especially when removing.

We didnt end up buying a proper babycam because they were so overpriced and lacked in quality, we ended up going with a Wyze Cam v3.This mount has made it possible for me to mount it on the bassinet, the crib, and the pack n play when we go to see family and the baby is sleeping.The camera does not move and it also doesnt mar the surface of whatever we end up mounting it to. The mount ended up creating a easy to use solution for us that travels extremely well and works much better than the solutions that cost a couple hundred dollars.

I purchased this clamp to attach a Waze camera. I needed it to clamp to the security bar on my sliding patio doors. I had previously had a Nest camera but there was no secure way to attach the camera and it fell off and broke (I might add it was $$$). I replaced it with the Waze Pan and the clamp made it possible. The camera attaches to it much like a tripod, it screws on, so it is secure. I have had it for several months now and have never had a problem with it being anything but securely attached. Great product for any application where you need a clamp of this type.

This clip mount is great. It can clip to very large items, like the back board of a crib (ours is almost 2" thick). And when not clipped to something, the mounting arm that connects the camera to the clip is adjustable (2 ball-socket joints) so that the clip itself can act like a foot for the camera, so we never take it off of the camera.The mount uses a standard camera screw mount to connect to the camera so it can be used with probably any camera (security, SLR, etc.) that can be mounted to a tripod. This was one reason why I went with the Arlo Baby cam. Being able to attach it to a clip mount such as this makes it even more flexible than it already was. I really have no worry about being able to put the camera anywhere I need now, thanks to this mount.

This clamp is strong, as the description and other reviewers have said, but the guards on the clip slip off easily which defeats the purpose of using the clip in the first place. Tried using it without the clip guards and it was too slippery to stay in place. Had to return. May work for some purposes if you have it positioned in a "face down" position, where the clamp guards would be held in place by gravity.
