Appears to be well constructed. Decent audio quality. The short cable length will not allow use with the microphone in the cuff of a suit (Secret Service style). The microphone needs to be clipped to a tie, collar, or lapel. With a Baofeng UV-82, the push-to-talk button will only transmit on the B channel. The clear ear tube is molded to fit over the ear. You can twist the final ear piece to fit either right or left ears (very important for a good fit). Advice from years of preparing TV reporter’s IFB earpieces: buy a box of alcohol injection prep pads at a pharmacy ($2-$3). Detach ear tube and blow out any ear wax residue between users.

So the product works well. You can hear everything very clear but it always comes out of my ear. It does not stay hooked over the ear. I will try to return it if it's possible. But every ear is diferent so try it first and form your own opinion.

Ordered these to use with the radios at church. They both reek of marijuana.ETA: after a few DIY solutions and airing out, the marijuana odor is gone. Was able to use them and they work well. The sound quality is good, but the materials aren't the best. The piece of the clear tubing that is connected to the clip broke easily with little handling on one of the units, however this did not affect the functionality. It took getting used to but once the ear piece was place, it was more comfortable than I expected. I would recommend this item, but it may need to be aired out.

Sound was horrible. Sounds like someone is talking through a tunnel of plastic... like a swimming pool tunnel. I’m very disappointed.The fit was uncomfortable leaving my war sore at the end of the day. I have to wear a radio my entire shift at work.Not worth the money or excitement... sorry

Work great and look good as part of a secret service detail costume.

I just returned the ones I bought. I could hear fine using either one. When I pushed the button to transmit it transmitted loud static. No chance of voice being heard. I tried two different radios, a Wouxun and a Baofeng, with the same result.

I have been using this ear piece for about a month and this earpiece has worked great. It is a little uncomfortable for my ear but that depends on the user I guess. The PTT button quit working today and it only works occasionally, everything else on the earpiece including the microphone still work though.

shipping is excellent, but the unit seems have a problem my Baofeng radio, evrytime press talk button it transfer to vhf so i cant use it to uhf.
