This machine is light and easy to operate. Did the job perfectly. Recommended.

It's perfect for the smaller hedges and growth. Battery lasts well. It's lightweight, easy to use and time saving.

Cuts thinner branches really well but can take a bit of effort to take down hedges with thicker growth. Not overly loud ideal for residential areas. General build is sturdy, minimalistic and not overly complicated to use/ maintain. It isn't excessively heavy so it is easy to balance and work with for extended periods of time. Battery life is great lasts a long time between charges can easily do a full 5 meter long hedge and still have most of the battery left over for another job. Only thing that was a dissapointment was the amount of power obviously it will be lesser compared to a petrol alternative but the speed of the blade is noticeably slower which feeds back to its ability to cut something a little more dense (like clusters of vines) as it can get stuck on them mid cut.

Very happy with this hedge cutter, lightweight and cuts through the hedge with ease, we must have the longest hedge in the road and it was becoming very overgrown, took us 3 hours to get it into a decent shape 😀 it's a big help that the cutter is cordless, the battery lasted for the 3 hours which is a bonus, I should have taken before pictures but hopefully this will help anyone who is looking into buying this, I give it a 10 out of 10, buy it, you won't regret it.

Does exactly what i need it to, cuts the hedge fine with no extra effort needed.

Pros: 1. Lightweight and well balanced. 2. Reasonable price. 3. Cuts well and easily; I did not try cutting any branches more than c10mm diameter. 4. Battery holds charge surprisingly well and power usage seems to be low. 5. Robust. On first use, I managed to drop it from the top of a 2m high privet hedge! Admittedly the fall was broken by privet stalks and the ground was soft, but it escaped any damage. 6. The Anti-Blocking system seems to work but this is impossible to verify. Cons: 1. The blade tip protector is a PITA. It is far too long at 4.5cms and renders the end of the blade unusable. The result is it is nigh on impossible to start a new cut midway into a dense hedge; you have to start the cut from the end of the hedge or force the tip protector to bend the obstructing branches out of the way. It also makes it difficult to judge whether you can cut that irritating solitary branch just at the end of your reach. This means it is probably useless for topiary work, which requires precision. I may well break off the plastic tip of mine. 2. The forward power switch location means the loss of a lot of reach length compared to my old Ryobi. 5 cms could be gained in reach if that switch was located further back. Moreover the grip required on the front handle results in greater loss of reach. I had to wait 6 weeks for delivery. I assumed it had to come from China but turns out this is made in Hungary. You would have thought that with 40+ years of supplying the German automotive industry, Bosch might have mastered the art of Just-In-Time; evidently not!

Light and user friendly

Good value for money, but doesn't have much power. Our main requirement is to cut back our Laurel Hedges which it is perfect for. But it wouldn't cut through bigger branches on our mid sized conifer. Worked fine on the top and sides to keep it tidy. Very light weight so perfect for me as a 5ft and "getting on a bit" woman. And been cordless is a 100% advantage over our previous hedge strimmer.

Much better than I expected. This hedge trimmer is surprisingly lightweight, powerful and long lasting and quiet. It absolutely slices through leafy and light plant matter. I’ve been using it to trim back various bushes and hedges. It seems to easily cut through thin branches and shoots which are several millimetres thick. I would say the maximum you can reasonably cut through is about half a centimetre. You can press the button on the detachable and rechargeable battery which will show you how much power remains out several bars which light up. The battery is still almost full after using it on and off for half an hour. I was probably being Conservative, expecting it to run out quickly. I would definitely recommend this hedge trimmer as it has been so easy to keep bushes and wandering vines at Bay. This has been excellent to help clear pathways and keep the gardens under control, especially during their big growth spurt in spring.

It pays to go with a good brand. This is excellent value for money, cuts all my hedges and has super battery life.

Hugely impressed—this is a fantastic hedge trimmer. Lightweight and easy to use (I'm quite a small-build woman and I have found it very easy to handle). It has great safety features—you have to use both hands to operate or it doesn't work—and I love the reusable blade cover. Battery lasts 85mins per charge (the unit comes with one battery + charger) and the trimmer has 3 years warranty. I managed to do 12-15 metres of our well-established chest-height orange jessamine hedge in under 20 minutes. The blade is a really nice length and the lightweight nature of the trimmer makes it easy to manoeuvre for a lovely clean finish. It takes a few passes to get the thicker branches but deals with foliage and the thinner growth very easily. It's a hedge trimmer, not an electric saw, so if you want to cut thick branches, this is probably not the correct tool. But I bought it to trim hedges with and I am very pleased with it.
