The thing is, these shoes are long and narrow but they are actually sized right for girls. I wear a size 8 for open shoes and sneakers and 8.5 for boots. The first time I tried on the shoes, the left shoe was a perfect fit but just a bit tight but the right one was extremely tight, not because they were designed differently but because my right foot reacts negatively to summer heat. So I embraced the pain and since the shoe wasn't as tight on my left foot, I knew they would work eventually. I've danced in them twice since I got them and the tension is completely gone and my feet don't hurt either. The shoe is still intact, no damage was done and it finally has the nice used look I like on all my sneakers. You'll definitely love them and get lots of complements.

I read the reviews about this shoe running small but I still went ahead and bought a pair in my actual size. The thing is, these shoes are long and narrow but they are actually sized right for girls.
