GE Classic 2-Pack 50 W Equivalent Dimmable Par20 LED Light Fixture Light Bulbs (Daylight)

Purchased these thinking that I could replace my halogen bulbs in our range hood with LED's. Wrong. They do not work in a Broan Allure range hood. I gave it 4 stars because they do work in table lamps for indirect lighting. Had to purchase the Halogen bulbs: Vinaco Par20 Bulbs, 2 Pack 120V 50W Par20 Flood Light Bulbs, E26 Medium Base. Those do work in the range hood.

Just remember these are LEDS so the light is brighter and has the blue tint LEDS produce. But it is in a rangehood that my wife uses as a night light when we have undercounter lights. The bulbs work fine and I got 2 for much less than 1 on Amazon.

This Par20 LED Bulb works great and will purchase more as required.Package arrived in perfect condition and on time.

I love the fact that the lights are very bright. I am using these LEDs for my stove exhaust hood. It provides great light on both settings. The only issue is that when using putting the lights on low, the lights flicker. It works great when on the high setting. This is why I can only give this product 3 stars. I am going to use them until they no longer work and then replace with a different type.

Definitely not ideal for a range hood. Whiter, brighter, taller and no bump on the butt end where solder would traditionally be. All of these are problematic to various degrees. If you want to see every spec of dust and grease, then sure they are great, but otherwise these are harsh. Also of interest, they don't turn on at the dim setting of my hood. My hood has dim and bright. I have to turn on bright then quickly switch to dim in order to use dim. And dim with these builds is brighter than bright was with the original. In the photos the original is on the left and new LED on the right. It's worse in person.

The lights work well, the length is just a bit longer than the old halogen bulbs, maybe 1/4 inch. That means it sticks out a little on our range hood rather than sitting flush. Looking around I can't find other LED bulbs that are shorter. Ultimately it's not bothering me after using it for a few days.

Not the brightest, but they do cast a nice glow, and are very versatile.

Overall rating of only four stars is due to the tight fit in my range hood. The bulbs are about 1/8" longer then the originals, but there was just enough room to accommodate theme. Brightness and energy efficiency are much better then the original halogen bulbs (which were also GE).

I've searched everywhere for replacement bulbs with bases that would make contact with the fixture in my hood fan. I contacted Broan and was told to bend the contact in the fixture so that it could make contact with the bulbs I'd been trying. Nothing worked and I was ready to replace the hood with one that wasn't so finicky. I tried these as a last resort and I'm delighted to report that the bulbs make contact, fit perfectly, and provide great light.

Fits on me GE and I love the warm light. But if I turn it to the lower light setting it flickers so bad that if you have epilepsy you’d be in trouble.

Nice led lights. Occasionally will flicker, they are on a dimming switch. I’ve been using for about a month now.

I was trying to replace a discontinued Sylvania PAR20 LED bulb, and this was the best thing I found, and it works very well. Almost an identical replacement.

This bulb was much brighter than the other PAR20 bulbs we use in our kitchen ceiling fixtures and it threw a small spot of intense light rather than a more diffused flood light effect. It is longer than our normal bulbs but did fit ok. I do not like these bulbs; too bright, too focused and not what we are accustomed to.
