25ft - 1/8 inch Flexo PET Expandable Braided Sleeving - Black - Alex Tech Braided Cable Sleeve

After reading an article in Fine Woodworking Magazine where the author had used this exact product to reduce damage to his vacuum hoses. I decided to give it a try. It works better than I could have hoped. The hoses it covers are from an old Kirby Vac and a Nilfisk vac. There is no significant catching on the back edge of track saw tracks and with a small nylon plate I had made up there is zero catching. I also use this on a dedicated Hegner finger joint machine. I believe the only reason this is not fitted to all industrial hoses is that it would limit the sale of spare parts hoses. All the best.

i swear by these in my cable management day-to-day. the only caution is that once you cut them to-size, you'll have frayed ends that _will 100% come undone like a bad sweater in that weezer song_. This is not a flaw in the design, nor a flaw in the AlexTech product line; you're meant to take a lighter or another heat source to cauterize the frayed ends such that they bind together instead of fraying. i hope it is apparent that you should do this _before running wire thru conduit_ unless your objective is to torch a bunch of wires with liquid flames.
