This is a terrific value. The sound is amazing!

I bought one of these three years ago and it worked great until I dropped it and broke the cover hinges. I had used it almost daily for hours every day and there were no problems. Without a second thought I bought the same model again.

Worked fine for 4 days, sound was good. The cd player now stops after 1 or 2 songs and shuts itself off. Tried different cd’s including the one which I ran on the first day with the same result. I am troubleshooting and will call the company to see if there is something I am missing in correcting the problem.

Stopped working after playing 1 CD. I needed to edit this review because the reason it stopped working was my mistake. The reason I give it 4 stars is because the earphones are very cheap.

Works great! Plays well and easy to use

Just like one reviewer said: the plastic is thin and cheap. The earbuds are entirely useless. I put them straight into the circular file. The earphone jack is fiddly. If the player gets jostled at all, or you don't set it down ever so gently, it stutters/skips/stops playing for a split second. My Sony lasted 30 years. I will consider myself lucky if this one lasts 3. but: I wanted it so I could listen to my VAST cd collection in my car, and the sound through my speakers is good and clear with plenty of volume, so I am satisfied. Will replace it when necessary with a more substantial, better made device, if any still exist. What can I say, I love my cd albums and to heck with Sirius and Spotify. I'm old. Sue me.
