It will not damage your washing machine. It's Aqueous Ozone Water and is safe to be in the room during its operation.

Q: Does this work for a stackable unit with washer on bottom?

Q: Any maintenance or replacement user has to keep up with long term?

Like all appliances, nothing lasts forever. We would expect that the machine can last up to about 3 to 5 years. There is an O-ring in the machine that will eventually need to be replaced which is not difficult to do yourself if outside the warranty and if under warranty we are happy to replace it. Other than that, the unit is self-sufficient.

Q: what is the warranty?

The manufacturer warrants this item against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original retail purchase. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser, for residential use.
