Same goes for any tables you might want to set it in. I would also make sure that the base is heavy enough or that you add extra weights. If it is free standing I would reccomend you use the supplied cross based with appropriate weights. **Q: What size parasol holder for a double parasol please** A: 48mm pole but will require a sturdy base holder **Q: How wide is the pole exactly? I want to check this before purchase as other comments say it is wider than standard.** A: Hi there The pole is 50mm in diameter. Hope that helps. We are very pleased with our purchase. My sister has even purchased one. **Q: Which base wud u recommend** A: A strong one as the parasol is very heavy hope this helps! ## Frequently Bought Together - Outsunny 4.6m Garden Parasol Double-Sided Sun Umbrella Patio Market Shelter Canopy Shade Outdoor with Cross Base - VANSHEIM Parasol Protective Cover,Outside Umbrella Cover for Garden Umbrella Cover Caps,Double Umbrella Cover with Zip and Telescopic Rod,Waterproof Double Parasol Cover 160x62/62cm - Kingfisher Parasol Cover - Packaging May Vary --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sk/products/299035305-outsunny-4-6m-garden-parasol-double-sided-sun-umbrella](https://www.desertcart.sk/products/299035305-outsunny-4-6m-garden-parasol-double-sided-sun-umbrella) --- *Product available on Desertcart Slovakia* *Store origin: SK* *Last updated: 2026-10-22*
