The Box was the thing I wanted to keep the most. And when it arrived in a parcel with the foam packaging instead of a box it was strange. I am buying a $60 Collection type product. I would like the Box to be in tact. The game seems ok and everything else is fine. Just mad that they couldn't spring for better shipping to protect the product. I don't think getting a refund and ordering the game again would be worth it. I don't know if they have a box replacement policy. I wish they did because the collector type box was the selling point of this product. A cardboard box would make sure none of that happened to the product.

The games are fun, but have not aged well. My main issue is the sheer amount of times the game freezes. It is almost every other battle in Soul Nomad that the game freezes and I have to restart the game, losing any progress I made since the last save. Do not buy this game until they release some sort of update to fix this issue, because the freezes completely ruin the entire experience.

Picked it up to introduce my son to the games and was a big hit.

I used to play the original Phantom Brave on PS2. Good to see it on the Switch. It's a fun game if you are into tactical RPGs.

Classics for the modern collector.

I'm just tired asking for better shipment... This bubble mailers are terrible for this Day One Editions. The carboard used in it isn't the best, but a better protection on shipping can keep it safer.

Memory leaks and freezing still plague this game. NISA has been dead silent on patching the game. Don't buy this until this has been addressed.Probably don't buy the upcoming Vol 2 either since it'll probably end up more or less the same.Edit: Volume 2 also has crashing issues. LOL

Love the games but I had no idea this was $20 extra just for junk! The regular game-only version isn’t available yet and will only cost $39.99 — so don’t bother with this ‘in between’ version! Either buy the Deluxe 2-Disc complete art book with the 2 coins with displays, or wait for the regular version cuz this one IS NOT WORTH IT!!!

The two games are very old. This is not a remake, only a remaster-- or better yet, a port of the game I'd say.The graphics have not been updated a lot. The text and UI did get an update (i.e. text font is crystal clear), but other than that the general graphics and pixels will stand out unless you are used to these kind of 2D games.The game screen is also square, while Switch display is horizontally wider. You get an option to scale it, which squeezes your graphics, or keep it square which means you get empty black area on the left/right side. I personally don't mind this but some users can feel irritating.Game only got minor updates on the UI and font, almost nothing on graphics. I really loved the original games so I'm having a lot of fun playing. However, for new players, because the graphics, mechanics, as well as the gamer interests have changed so much (e.g. games may be more used to mobile games which are divided into stages and very quick to play) I wouldn't recommend the game unless you are fan of these series. I've easily played 100+hours the games so I completely love it, but for users who cannot, or will not devote that much time may not feel as immersed.Now onto the Deluxe Edition review:Soundtrack - this consists of 1 CD with about 10 tracks from each games, thus about 20'ish.Art Book - is about 35 pages long. It DOES NOT contain all characters and illustrations. I've seen unboxing reviews of the Limited Edition of this game (exclusive at NISA Online Store) which does include all characters and illustrations, it's got much much more content. But this Deluxe edition DOES NOT have that. Even though the description says both Art Books are "NIS CLASSIC VOL. 1 COMPENDIUM" Softcover for Deluxe, and "NIS CLASSIC VOL. 1 COMPENDIUM" Hardcover for Limited Edition, they are completely different. Deluxe Edition gets much less content, be aware if you collect goodies like me.Inner Box - so there's an inner box and an outer box (photos I've uploaded). The inner box has Soul Nomad image on one side, Phantom Brave on the other side. I really liked this because personally the outer box cover seemed way too cheap.Game - Game has reversible cover.

J’ai acheter ce produit car c’était un collector edition et comme je suis collectionneur, je le voulait dans ma collection. Sauve comme sur les photos la boîte du collector est endommager…Donc je suis vraiment déçu un collector comme ça aurait fallu que ce sois dans une boîte mieux protéger que dans un sac a bulle qui fait trois fois la grande de la boîte du jeu.

Muy bonita la edición bde colección, el problema radica en el poco esmero que le pusieron al port, unas lineae enormes en los laterales y no mejoraron nada. Son los juegos de ps2 pero en portátil.
