Jenna Natural Round 17.75" Stacking Stool, Set of 4 by Linon

Simply put - my wife and I are thrilled with this purchase. These Linon Home Decore Stacking Stools are exactly what we were looking for. We use them at various places in our house as side tables or stools as the situation dictates. They are sturdy, attractive, with a rich looking finish that repels liquids well. For not only the price but for our purposes we couldn't have made a better choice. While it does not impact us as we are not using them as stacking items, beware that I don't feel they would stack well. At least they didn't when I tried them right out of the box. So I would be wary of that observation if purchasing them with such a benefit in mind.

The tables are a bit lighter than they appear on my screen (where they look almost black.) They arrived ASSEMBLED, which was a pleasant surprise. I took the advice of another reviewer and bought a set of .  Self-Stick 1-Inch Furniture Round Felt Pads for Hard Surfaces, Oatmeal, 48-Piece , to cover the screws underneath each table top so that they wouldn't scratch the surface of the ones beneath them when they are stacked. I have a very small round dining table, and it is awesome to put these next to each seat for drinks, side dishes,snacks, etc. Especially when we play dominoes - we don't mess around,lol! The game takes up the whole table, and those tiles get flying. Now the beverages and food are safe! hehe. I also use one to put my laptop on when I'm on the couch. I'm disabled, and spend much time on the couch :( They can be used as stools for the kids or smaller adults... Best $75 I ever spent. Only complaint is that I waited almost 2 weeks to get the order. It was tough to be patient, but worth it. Very versatile item, look much nicer than they cost. A+++

Perfect size for our kitchen bar, they work great. Would not recommend being a dingus and swaying the stool side to side because it is wood … and wood isn't invincible.

The first time i ordered these they were different and better.The length of the wood underneath the seat part was longer thus making them more sturdy /stable as well as the varnish was nicer more evenly coated and looked presentable. All but one broke but lasted far longer than the second bunch i purchased which were different ,cheaper more flimsy design the length of the wood underneath the seat part was noticeably shorter as well as the finish was terrible and blotted like someone was in a hurry to varnish them.

2nd Updation - 4th purchase due primarily to wear and marring of prior sets. Also a few screws have worn the wood where seat and leg attach and cannot be re-screwed into place. The new stools have 4 very poorly constructed, ill fitting wedges between the legs under the seat that have been haphazardly added after completion of the original construction, likely to stabilize, but with consequence of creating a very unpleasant appearance resultant by choice of a different quality of wood and cut. Also black, round headed wood screws have replaced former flat chrome hexagonal screws of previous iteration. Similar packaging, with stools assembled. Covering of flat plastic rather than bubble wrap. The stools no longer have the appearance of Alvar Aalto stools. I choose to return. I've reduced the rating from 5 to 3 stars. May 30, 2021.1st Updation - I initially purchased these natural birch stools 3 years ago. They continue to patina beautifully. However, I recently purchased a third order! Incredibly, the newer version of the stool is extraordinary, as well as the improved excellent packaging (dense, heavyweight cardboard, foam between pre-assembled stacked stools, all covered with bubble wrap). Unlike former purchases, the replication of the Aalto design is precisely the same of dimension as vintage stools from approximately 50 years ago, with the width of the seat the same as the legs. The curvature of the legs are also the same as vintage Alvar Aalto stools. The hardware is slightly different, but actually greatly improved. For those whom might consider this a concern, they cannot be viewed unless turned upside down and inspected. I have increased my original 4 star rating to a 5 star rating. My sole complaint is they become loosened over several months. Fortunately, an adjustment of the screws underneath can be accomplished quickly and easily.

These were sold in that store with the red concentric circles for awhile and I kept looking for them there again. Finally broke down and got them via Amazon. Their simple design fits in with many styles, and the stacking feature is excellent. We use them only as end tables, but they could function as stools to a degree. I just wouldn't expect them to last too long in that capacity.The original ones we had lasted a couple of years and the legs started to work loose. I worked to secure them, but eventually the particle board tops just couldn't endure.Happy enough with them that we bought more of them, but I won't expect them to function as stools for holding a large adult.

I purchased these as a cheaper/bulk option for the Ikea Frosta stool and am very pleased with my decision. You can't tell a difference between these and the frosta stool (which I already own and have mixed in with these new ones) and get way more bang for your buck. These came fully assembled and undamaged. I'm using them as end-tables, plant stands, and tray tables. They are also stackable, which is wonderful if you don't have the room for them to stay out but would like a temporary side-table option. These have only been in my house a week and I've already gotten so many compliments on them! Great purchase.

These look great - stack nicely - good hight -I am happy I bought them for spare stools at the table . Our dining room table holds 8 chairs and when I have 12 I add someone on a stool to each corner -fits perfect

Classy looking.

They look good and work well as little end tables but are not great as stools. Too flimsy and the legs are not quite even. Not recommended if you re looking for extra seating.

We bought this for a museum and on it's first day of operation, a kid sat on it and the legs broke off.Would not recommend.

We use these for extra seating in our dining room. They work well as they don’t take up a lot of room like our dining chairs. We have used them often and they are holding up although I did have to tighten all screws before using. Easily stacked and put away.
