This lunchbox is so cute and has a matching backpack. Love the print but it only has one inefficient little Velcro strip. It often pops open when you hold it by the handle. I only use it for snacks for my kiddo and it certainly can’t hold the weight of a water bottle. One good thing about it is it’s easy to wipe down the inside and I have thrown it in the wash a couple times to clean the outside. It held up great after washing just let it air dry and don’t use the dryer.

I've had this for less than 5 months and the inside is already ripped and torn in multiple places.

At first we bought this to go with the Olive Pack n Snack backpack. It is much bigger than we expected though (my fault, should have paid attention to the dimensions), and although it fits in the backpack, it would take up the entire space. Given the toddler pattern, I was expecting something small that would fit a small snack and cup, but is actually almost as tall as the Pack N Snack backpack. I am not sure if they were intended to go together, or that is just how Amazon promoted them (ie the frequently bought together feature). In the end, we still like it, we just changed what we intent to use it for. Now we use it as a small car cooler for short day trips, like to keep a few milk bottles cold or a few other snacks. It is a cute pattern, good quality. As some have mentioned the flap pulls open if heavy items are in it and it is held by the handle, but we only usually carry it short distances. A nice loop or hook closure would help with that.

I like this bag but my husband doesn't. I guess I just like the look and feel of it and didn't consider its shortcoming before purchasing. It will keep the items inside fairly cold as long as you have an ice block etc. inside. The flap just folds over and is held in place with velcro so it doesn't hold in the cold as well as something with a zippered closure. Along that line, if you have much in the lunch bag, it feels like the velcro closure is going to break open and spill its contents since the handle is part of the whole closure system. It's never opened by accident, but you can hear the velcro breaking look if you jostle the bag at all. It's just a little disconcerting while walking into daycare in the morning with a sippy cup full of milk and a day's worth of snacks. Dad would prefer one with a secure zippered closure system.
