I have had other black garlic (Trader Joe's and a couple of other brands) and this is easily the best for a couple of reasons. They have great flavor and they are super easy to get the garlic out of the peel. The TJ brand have a very good flavor, but they are a mess to eat! It's necessary to dig out and un-peel each individual clove. Other brands are somewhere between TJ brand and these as far as flavor. However, this brand is a whole little garlic head and you just peel off the main outer layer and pop the whole garlic head in your mouth. No muss no fuss. A couple of these make a great snack and these two canisters have lasted me a few weeks, as there are about 20 garlics in each canister. They are smaller than a gold ball - maybe 1 to 1 1/2" in diameter.If you're on the fence about trying black garlic, which has awesome health benefits, give these a try! Definitely keeping some of these in the house at all times.
