Book review: Some Japanese Flowers
This is a beautiful book, from its binding to the magnificent color plates of glorious Japanese flowers by photographer Kazumasa Ogawa. It’s not large or weighty compared to some books, but one to add to your collection for anyone who loves the beauty of flowers.

Mediocre Quality of The Print Publishing
Great idea. Mediocre accomplishment. Printing of the plates is faded, no halftones at all, colors are washed out. Not recommend.

MUY BIEN EDITADO Y PRECIOSOS CONTENIDO
Muy satisfecha con la compra. Edición de bolsillo pero muy cuidada y con contenido de alta calidad.Sería perfecto si tuviera un formato mayor.

A book for photographers, botanists, and artists
This new book by Getty is a must for those who enjoy Japanese artistic approaches to nature. The photographer--Kazumasa Ogawa--was a remarkable man who, at a young age, discovered photography and pursued it as his passion.Amazingly, after completing his education, he set up a photography shop at age 17, and by age 22, he signed on as a seaman on an American naval warship which brought him to America where he pursued further study in photography. This book shows his art. That was, of course, and era when photography was pictorialist, and clearly, Ogawa considered his final product as a work of art. This book makes for a wonderful gift--to those I love, yes, but also to myself.
