Bubbles!
I used this guar gum in my homemade bubble recipe. Wow, the bubbles were so much better than solution you buy from the store. Only 2 tsp was used to make almost one gallon of bubbles.Ingredients for the BEST homemade bubbles:4 cups hot (almost boiling) water2 tsp guar gum200ml (about 1 cup) Dawn dish soap2 tsp baking powder 10 cups cold water Tools: Large metal cooking potWire whisk (for stirring...but can also be used as a bubble-blowing tool)Measuring cups and spoonsStoveEmpty gallon water bottle container for finished solutionNotes: -At each step, try to stir at an even speed, not getting too much foam on the surface.- Slowly sprinkle the guar gum and baking powder to avoid lumps.ENJOY!

Does just what I need
I bought this to use for my potted plants, not for consumption. Its working just as planned. Some are in very large pots.( to be honest it's a lot of them).Potting soil can become "crunchy " after a year or 2. By mixing up the powder with boiled water I can make a humectant ie "water holding" solution to add now and then to my watering container. I still need to use compost water or some plant "food" for the soil but I do not need to buy and haul multiple 40 lb. bags of potting soil home and repot many large pots inside the house and out on our decks.

Not Budget Friendly Compare to Xanthan Gum
I decided to give it a try as a more budget friendly alternative to Xanthan gum. ِI use it in my morning banana smoothie. I have to use 3-4 times more Guar gum to achieve the same consistency. Will go back to using Xanthan gum.

a little goes a long long way!!
a friend suggested this for making watercolor paint as I am not able to get gum Arabic. I tried using the same measurements...lol that was hilarious, needless to say I had quite a bit of adjusting to do. at no fault of the product let me add...but it arrived very fast, packages well and works for what I intended it for....so thumbs up and if I ever run out I will purchase again...lol

Great for jam and jelly making. Every day cooking too
I use along with plain gelatin (pectin).

Does what it says it does
It does what it says, and if you use it for cooking, then it's a perfect product to buy if you need a thickening agent

Not what I needed.
I'm not sure that it was a bad product but it definitely didn't work for what I needed. I bought this for using in my fondant to help with the stretching and hardness when dried. It didn't seem to work for me like tylose powder does. I was hoping for it to be a good substitute.
